@@taylormartin4870 Glad to hear from you, hope all is good. yeah i originally found your videos on Soviet Steeds five years ago, and still ride a Ural at 78 years old. it took me 5 hours to reload the obdwiz without the help of the grand kids. when i got stuck trying to convert the power bars to kPa values. your video made it very easy and clear,again thanks
Hello Ted, not sure what program you have? Have you been on Soviet Steeds forum? There was a professional add on I had to get to get OBD Wiz to work as I wanted. It's been so long since I did this I would have to watch the videos again lol.
I just recently purchased the OBDLink and the OBDWiz software with the premium upgrade. I cannot even seem to find the activation code so that I can use the software. Tech support is non-existent with only a forum and nothing in real time. To say I am a bit frustrated is something of an understatement. Quite honestly, I want my money back because I don't have time for this sort of nonsense. Even this video isn't helping me much.
Hello to you and thank you for this Video. I`m from Germany an have a Retro EFI from 2016. I can see in your Settings for OBD Header: @7E0. If i connect the bike with OBDWiz i can see $7E0! witch one i have to write? I`m scared to write wrong! Thank you for helping me.
No Joy for me. No user defined PIDS import in the tools drop down menu. Did I buy the wrong software? If so, can I get it exchanged for the correct software?
I'm not sure which ODB adapter will work specifically with IPad. There is a chance the bluetooth will. Better to check manufacturer's website for compatibility. Sorry, wish I could be more help. The thread on Soviet Steeds forum has lots of information. And I'm pretty sure someone on there has used an IPad.
Taylor Martin Thanks Taylor . After I asked my question I watched a video using same OBD Bluetooth link with his car. He stated that they weren’t compatible with any apple product so I think I have an answer. Thank you for responding.
Hello Santiago, It has been a very long time since I have had anything to do with the adapter cable. I do know I made the cable for 2016 Ural. I think Ural changed connector on the bike in 2017. I have heard they put vacuum port on throttle bodies, either 2019 or 2020. Not sure though. There is much more information on the soviet steed forum. Sorry for late reply.
@@taylormartin4870 Thanks I will dig around on Soviet Steeds some more. From pictures I have seen it appears the 2019 connector is different. And yes there are vacuum ports on the 2019, I use my Twin Max for tuning. Currently, the engine light is on, I have tried the Blink and Reset procedure to clear it, no soap. It runs fine but I would like to know what is going on. Looks like a trip to the dealer. Which is 100 miles away. Thank you.
