I keep a very close eye on any candle that I have burning. But, if you were to sell them, I would put just a few pieces of herbs in them, a little bit further away from the flame. Once it’s lit, and the wax melts, the herbs really just sink into the wax further and further. Even with the way I make mine, I have never had an issue with fire.

You are very welcome. Sometimes the wax hardens up pretty quickly, sometimes it takes longer. Like if I’m making them in summer, versus winter, and humidity plays a big part in it.

Some of the kits on Amazon are actually pretty good. I would be sure to check the reviews though. There are a lot of sellers there that deal with high-quality ingredients. Make sure to read the description box thoroughly, and check out the reviews

I get mine from local gem mines, because I live in the mountains and there are lots of those around here. One good place to get them online, is etsy believe it or not. There are lots of Etsy sellers that deal with gems and crystals. Or, you can buy specimens from science and geology supply stores online.
I’ll have to find some more places to source from. I swear Amazon shops come and go like crazy. And I don’t get a notification if they stop selling something, or if they close down. I’ll have to look for another good place.
Many essential oils have a very low flash point, which will cause them to flare. I have been doing this for a very long time. I also happen to be a certified aromatherapist. (don’t listen to people who tell you that all essential oils are safe for use in candles.)
What I like to do if it's an out going love is to snip a peace of loose thread from a peace of clothing that I love and for a long time and put it on the side of candle in the wax meaning that I'm offering my love than actually giving myself away and I'll usually mark it with a Sunflower petal over Sunflowers being polymorphic which means that they are a food, medicine and can help contaminated soil like with rust, radiation And when I want love coming in I'll use a Forget Me Not flower and a cracked Sunflower seed so that it would be them opening their heart than trying to force it open and I would do it half for extra care and put a petal two 'cause Sunflowers just give a happy and warm vibe to me and yeah I put a rose petal only cause it's a symbol for love but to be honest I find them to be meaningless to me I'm sorry I just do probably 'cause they are overly commercialized and with spells like these that deal with people I just try to put extra care and caution I don't want people to get hurt
I’m trying to do as much research as possible before I start making my candles. I’m trying to figure out all the herbs, crystals and oil combinations. Right now I’m looking for which to use for a harmony/peace candle for my home.. I have 6 daughters and my house can get pretty chaotic. Great information.

Okay I am an Amateur at candle making, so I hope this isn't an silly question.(I don't know if asking a pro about where she gets her materials is appropriate) I was wondering where you get your crystals at, I want to make a few candles for my family as gifts. I think that gifts made from the heart are the best. Also I was wondering if you could put a teaspoon of say...holy oil in the soy wax or petroleum base wax would it cause it to flash burn? Also does the flowers in the wax harm the throw of the fragrance oil, meaning does it absorb the fragrance oil causing the fragrance oil to disappear? I also wanted to say you make beautiful candles. The type does not really matter, but I do like to keep it extra fine so that the particles are very tiny. I would not want to use large flakes around the flame
I have not had one to crack yet. Most of the time the flame of the candle does not really get hot enough to cause it to crack. And as the wax warms up, the stones slowly warm up along with it, so it does not get overheated all at once

They either absorb the wax, or they sink as the wax melts. I’ve never had one to catch on fire.

This is a soy blend. A good rule of thumb is to keep your wax around 180°F when you add your fragrance oil

Quick question! Is soy wax better than bees wax for spiritual candles? As far as scent & setting?
You can actually use whichever kind of wax you prefer. I myself use soy based waxes, but I have seen others use beeswax

They pretty much burn like any other container candles. The herbs do not catch on fire, as they sink down into the wax once it begins to melt.

You can, but make sure the selenite is way far away from the flame. It is not as strong or durable as quartz

So the extra bit of wax in the Pyrex that you top the candle off with doesn’t harden as fast as the wax inside the tin?
Pyrex holds heat, but you may have to reheat the wax a little bit to get it to pour again.
