    To convert your bitmap files to vraybitmap quickly all you need to do is right click on your scene>V-Ray Bitmap to VrayBitmap texmap converter. Comes with Vray built in.

      Thanks Keith, so we could drag and drop images into the mat editor and then convert. Should be quicker. Cheers.

    @jakedenham Maybe you know this by now. But you can actually (almost) drag and drop your texture to VraybBitmap like with regular Bitmap.
    -When you opened a VrayBitmap node, just drag your texture from file explorer to the "import address field" at the top of the material parameter editor and it will work fine.
    Not 100% as easy as just dragging it to the material editor background, but better then importing it like you do in the video. =)

      @@jakedenham Concrete plastering. Its repetitive pattern is really ugly from a distance so I was looking for someway to randomize.

    • @jakedenham
      @jakedenham  3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Is there a way to use this for multi-sub object maps? Having multiple maps randomly combined? I am thinking the windows of a skyscraper at night. Several different interiors and some without lights on, so black.
