Learned a long time ago that Super Bowls don't define greatness in this sport. It's a team sport, and they are team and organizational accomplishments, much more than individual ones. Super Bowl or not, Patrick Willis was and IS the greatest LB I ever saw

The year was 2007 on a very cold night on the 15th of December, the 49ers faced the Bengals, a young 16 year old from a small town 3 hours away from SF was fortunate enough to watch his favorite rookie in person. Couple weeks later, that 16 year old got his first 49ers jersey which was a Willis jersey with that beautiful shadow on the numbers. 16 years later that kid is fortunate enough to watch his favorite player get inducted to the hall of fame! Thank you P.Willis for what you did!

Well deserved 🥲👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🫡 one of my favorite Niners of all-time, the leadership, the energy, the intensity he brought to the team is unmatched, he was our Ray Lewis and definitely deserved a Super Bowl in his career. I was kind of sad when he retired but now that I'm older I understand and respect that. He came in as a Niner and retired as a Niner. Raiders fan, I will never cheer or like the 49ers. Patrick Willis is 1 of 2 49ers I actually liked, i could never hate on him, truly one of the greats, and after watching and hearing his speech, I have even more love n respect for him. I remember when he retired bay area media was saying he was great but not good enough to be a hall of famer because his career was short. He proved them wrong. #2 is Frank Gore, he should get the gold jacket soon.

A powerful testimony, his passion and used as a vessel from the Lord. All these years I watched him play from his rookie year under singletary until his retirement. All that time watched as a non-believer & before I was born again in 2016.
