I think your awsome, I spent most of my adult life in Western Washington and love the music you choose to play. Im an RN and worked for 33 years and I ended up with a lot of injuries and got a chronic illness that made my blood pressure crazy high. Blew out my veins. I can relate to a lot of the things you talk about.. about Krat...yes I have because they do not test for it and it helps me manage pain....you really think its an opiate? I have legitimate pain and ya know they do not prescribe pain meds these days so I thought it was ok...Now Im researching it. Did you feel like it created a high?Euphoria like opiates do?I know it helps with the sense of well being and all... I do take it so I can go to the store or the park and have less pain..
Thank you for commenting on the music 🥰🥰 I love music so much. I think it’s really good that Kratom is available for people as an alternative when they can’t get pain meds. It would be a terrible mistake if they made it illegal. I am pretty sure it is not technically an opiate, but it works on similar receptors in the brain (I think). I know that everybody reacts to it a little differently. For me it functioned precisely like an opiate (same effects, same development of dependency, same withdrawal), but I know other people can take it forever and never have withdrawal. The great thing about it is that it’s not dangerous the way other opiates are. I’m not aware of a single case of fatal overdose that can be linked directly to Kratom itself. You can’t even say that about Tylenol. So, while I personally hope I never start using it again, I am a huge fan of Kratom staying readily available for those it helps. Thanks for sharing 🙂
