I’d be retiring or working less in 8 years, and considering this financial recession, Im deciding to begin taking up skilled trades. I’m curious to know best how people split their pay, how much of it goes into savings, spendings or investments, I earn around $120K per year but nothing to show for it yet.
you should contribute to your retirement diligently, or better still look into financial planning don't come to youtube for advise, consult a local or trusted online broker/plannner
Very true, I find myself lucky enough exposed to money management at an early age. Worked full time when I was 19, purchased first home at 28, fast forward time... I'm 61 now, got laid off March 2020 amidst lockdown, a blessing in disguise. At once, I consulted an plannner to stay afloat and with subsequent investments, I'm only 15% short of $1m as of today.
this is huge! would love to grow my reserve regardless of the economy situation, my 401k has depleted seriously since early 2022, at this point, i'm in need of guidance, can you point me?
The decision on when to pick an Adviser is a very personal one. I take guidance from ‘Monica Mary Strigle‘ to meet my growth goals and avoid mistakes, she's well-qualified and her page can be easily found on the net.
I found TBM two years ago and her process has transformed my financial mindset and budget. I'm slowly getting out of debt but for the first time in my adult life I have money leftover at the end of a pay period, like more than .25 cents!!! I have savings and actually know where my money is going. I started with the box set to see if the system would work, the purchased the .pdf and am so excited to set up for 2025. Total fan of Kumiko! PS - New sub to your channel and am enjoying your content. 💜
August is magic month for me-three paychecks. I totally forgot and planned my budget with two and am sooo happy I totally forgot it. I actually keep our budget on a spreadsheet. Since we are on social security, a small monthly annuity and my bi-monthly pays, I calculated August the same as every month (income wise) and totally missed my 8/30 paycheck!
Ohh, I just bought this planner so it was great to see it in use. For the paycheck stickers, I love Planner Kate's. She has her own website, and they're really cute.
I am going to check that out. I think you just ordered from me on Etsy, right? Recognize the name. Maybe you can send me a link on etsy for some suggestions?
Hi Taryn, thank you so much for all your advice regarding setting up a monthly budget calendar. This is so helpful and, since I have been following you, I have been prepared for every bill by the time I received them. Truly, thank you for sharing xxx 🕊️🙏🏻🩷🌹

Thank you for the lead. I searched her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.

I FEEL THIS. ON A WHOLE OTHER LEVEL. She literally saved me. In 2020 when I started using her BBP. Oh gosh what a life changing time for us.
Watching while I'm updating my budget calendar for August 😍😍😍
Same :) Exciting bubbly energy for this upcoming month !
Love that!

I wish I had magic months. But I guess salary does not bummer
@@BreatheandbudgetI only have it because we have 26 pays a year, not 24. Every other week we are paid, salary and hourly employees ❤
Loving the calendar setup & you explained it so well 😊❤
Appreciate that feedback
