zackganley119 As others have said it comes down to music theory & knowledge. I recently taught myself some basic theory & it's really shows. VR will have done it so much so that it's pretty much second nature!
He really loves that API 2500 compressor. I mean...wow. It's the literally the only comp he uses. I use it on drums mostly, occasionally i'll use it on bass (whatever sounds best)....but otherwise I either use Waves Renn Compressor or a SSL G Bus Compressor (The Glue, NI SOLID). NI Supercharger GT believe it or not is really good on individual drum hits.
Your probably right because the synthesis in the beginning seems to be like something you would find in Mittens is angry, but the rhythm of the chords is the same as the bass solo in turn up, the actual chord progression is similar to the one in turn up as well.
DawntreaderUK I'm pretty sure he's quoting what virtual riot said but he probably meant "like 99% of your stuff" because he likes this project and how it sounds, like probably how he likes 99% of his stuff

zackganley119 It is actually really easy. But I don't understand Cubase and all the other things he does :3
zackganley119 He knows music theory and also was trained in classical music I believe.
