I'll never not be stoked on the berm gap line! Such a dope sender. The new lip on the hip looks like a blast man and as always you shred it with the steeze! Good to see more 3rd person stuff. Brownie is such an interesting area. Fun quick rippers and then nice challenging climbs.
Did you hit North Loop when you were at Wirth? It's more old-school-XC-sufferfest than SW or Brownie, but it's fun to go early in the morning and chase kitted-out XC racers. The Loppet's Area 36 is also an XC sufferfest, but more new-school flow. There are some rollers you can double and a few gap-able sections, though.
Thanks dude. I don’t know if I would say they’re giving the people what they want but it’s fun trail. I would definitely like to see more progressive trail built in the metro.
I think y'all rode right after I ripped out some unauthorized trail modifications (including a change to that split lip and those new "weird" ones leading down into Brownie). I didn't have time to do it proper so they were in crap shape/completely missing (including that split lip) when you rode. Fixing everything back up this evening. Hopefully that person stops sticking crappy rock jumps everywhere now that I replaced them with dirt
Oh gotcha. Thanks for you’re work out there buddy. Hope you enjoyed the little fun I was poking at ya. Pretty weird someone would be doing that on sanctioned trail haha.
Feel like I haven’t seen a Theo feature in a minute so that was fun to watch. Gnarly riding from both of you and your alternate line down the berm run was sick. You two were killing it out there even if you did end up getting passed by a one wheeler...
“Gonna bomb down to brown town” Lol! Nice sends from you guys! That gap looks ill🤒. Nice work on that Double black too J! And nice little ditty! How’s the ankle doing? You air casting that thing?
Why the need to cut the trail to jump a berm ? Does nothing but promote rogue trails which trail stewards have to then close off and take away from normal maintenance. Maybe come to a trail maintenance day to see what I am talking about.
I work for the guy who built the trail and that’s a sniper line he put in. I’m a full time trail builder and it sounds like we might be going in there with machines to rehab those berms at the end of the year. 🤙🏻
@@ridindirt I’m glad to see you are involved with trail. I am too but as a volunteer who puts in 200+ hours annually. The sniper line as you call it is not part of the current trail or line. When riders see this video they feel there is precedence to find this line and ride it which in turn becomes an issue. Not being a trail turd here but it sends the wrong message about riding and cutting rogue trails.
@@davidkrajcovic5018 thank you for your work. I’m aware of that but I disagree. I want people to see it in hopes that organization like morc will realize there’s a need for more progressive trails in the metro and hopefully will hire professionals to build. It’s sad that there’s nothing to push expert riders in the area and have to drive 2 plus hours north to get exited about riding. If there were more progressive trails to meet the skills of riders we wouldn’t need to find little gaps like that.
@@ridindirt There is a better way to go about it versus sniper lines in hopes that the local club see’s your video. Maybe work with MORC and the land managers to get some features added. That’s what a group did here in St. Louis and it has been successful.
@@davidkrajcovic5018 so I was assuming that you live here and volunteer at Theo. Sounds like you live in St. Louis though? I’ve literally built morc controlled trail. I hear what you’re saying and respect your opinion. Not sure why you assumed that I have nothing to do with trail work here though. I want to see trails progress and creativity on a bike embraced. Maybe I am going about it the wrong way, I don’t know. But it started a conversation. So that’s something. Whenever I see someone find and hit a sniper line that I’ve put in on trail I’ve made I’m stoked on it. Ride and have fun.
Very cool! Great ride! 👍👍👍
Thanks! This was a fun one 🤙🏻
Nice and flowy there mate... That berm gap was BALLER!
Nice vid... As always... :D
Thanks buddy! This trail is one of the local favorites.
Great riding!
Thanks bud 🤙🏻🤙🏻

Thanks dude. Definitely intend to do more 3rd person shots. I had a lot of fun filming this one. Brownie is a weird one for sure.

I didn’t hit north this time but have rode it plenty. Been riding at Theo for many years. The Loppet trails are a nice addition for sure
A little morning motivation before I head out to ride.
Hell yea, have a good ride buddy 🤙🏻
Dude lovin the flow coming out the back of that helmet brother! You’re the man.
Haha thanks buddy! 🤘🏻
I’ve been looking for that berm gap forever, looks pretty smooth.
Yeah it’s not bad dude 🤙🏻
Good riding and props to theo giving the people what they want... some send!

Thanks bud! No air cast, just being careful. It’s getting a little better each day. It’ll be a bit till I’m back on the bike though
Thanks 😊 I’m glad you find my commentary as funny as, Matt does. Lol
Jessica Lundeen ya, sounds like something I would say! 😜 Clowning ass material!
