Ridin' New Trails At Spirit Mtn With The Builder! Who's Ready For Bike Fest?!
Ridin' on a beautiful day at Spirit Mtn in Duluth, MN. I give a little overview of what's been built and is getting built on the hill. Pretty much right away on my ride I ran into Jacob Link with Zenith Trail Contracting and he was kind enough to tow me down what he's been building. The new Wild Cat is running so good! Very excited for him to get the blue jumpline running too, probably going to be a bit for that one though. I'm also doing some work for Spirit but not a dh run, working on the DT at the base of Spirit making some universal design green trail. So I've been camping at Spirit which has been pretty rad for riding.

Out at the new tech trail at Theodore Wirth in Golden Valley, MN with Jeremy from Dialed In! This trail was built fall of 2023 by Zenith Trail Contracting and is located in the North Loop. It's rated a black diamond but everything is rollable. Pretty short loop but offers a lot of punch and is super easy to loop and session. @@sujanshrestha7178 well obviously with how many times I dinged my rims I’m not running inserts or enough psi lol. I was running 32 rear and 27 front.

@@Rowdysy honestly I would have to look at it. Haven’t touched the settings in awhile. I do have a video of testing the GoPro 10 and list all my settings and they’re still the same. I do flat color and color grad in the software though
How do you like your slide in camper? Go down the road in the wind okay? I'm debating a van or a slide in.
@@DoomedMidwestern goes in the wind good enough. I’ve definitely driven through some gnarly wind. I like it. The price was right and have definitely gotten my moneys worth out of it haha.

Underrated AF trail system and where I learned to ride! Hard shred of all the good stuff here, learned new locals lines from this even though I was a local for awhile! I'm submitting 10:59 to the city of Red Wing's tourism department 😆

@@Dialed1 oh yeah they rerouted like 5 years ago. After the 3 big jumps it kept going all the way down for the road and then you’d have to hike a bike back up. It was pretty sick
@@Dialed1 Yeah that was the newer reworked DH we rode in 2021. Heard great things about the old DH trail but I didn’t ride MTB back then. Nick Ice has some vintage footage of the old trail
@@AndrewGehn That would have been rad to run that! Still a sick trail. The jumps after the step down could be longer to accommodate that massive speed after the step down.

@@ridindirt Short stop in Minneapolis, then heading out to the PNW & West Coast later this month. I think that Inver Grove was only 45 min or so from Red Wing
I just was here last week and hit all the trails and for the first time hit the first of the three big jumps. I love this place definitely a place to go if you live nearby.

Jess did. I bought a complete used from a buddy for an insane deal. I switched out all the components and then Jess bought the frame and used the parts from mine to build it up. We both love the bike.

Steezy riding ✅ Broken bones ✅ Someone crashing on that damn Smorgasbord jump ✅ Rad day at spirit until it wasn’t! That rider went for the bigger side hit on smorgasbord instead of the usual 10 foot overshoot on the smaller straight on jump, I’ve never attempted that side hit. J was crushing it and hope she heals up soon, broken bones are no fun…

7:48 after that step down, do you use any brakes before the side hit? I did it once last year but I forgot the speed
definitely brakes if you do the straight hit, but i bet the side hit doesnt need any
