@@Aussie-63 nice Torana man💪🇦🇺good to see another Aussie pats fan
@@lukeneely9476 New England NSW. No such thing as a bad Torana Mate lol 🦘
@@lukeneely9476 As a life long Eel, it's nice to win something, somewhere on this planet.
He's under contract for this year, and getting anything substantial for him in a trade, is unlikely. So, he's gonna play hard for us this year to show prospective team that he can stay healthy, and has something left in the tank. I think he would love to stay, and he got what he wanted once before, by taking it to the media, but I think it backfired on him this time.
Solid point, wants to show others he still has it this year then next Free Agency cycle may dip
I don't think any team is gonna offer a 32-year-old player coming off a series injury and paying him a boatload of money. and the new england patriots are not gonna get big draft capital for a 32-year-old player coming off of an injury. they don't even know how he's even gonna play yet. I don't think any teams is gonna make an offer for Matthew Judon. if the patriots are gonna release him, the other teams will just wait until he's a free agent. he still has a year to go on his contract, so maybe the patriots may not be interested in a new contract until they see how he plays during the year. he is coming off an injury from last year. so I guess they want to see how he does before they offer him another contract. that only makes sense for the patriots. and maybe Matthew Judon is asking too much money, and the Patriots aint willing to pay him that type of money until they see how he plays. he is coming off of an injury that may be another reason. if he plays very well there, then they're probably gonna sign him to another contract. I would not give him more than 2 years extensions. he is 32 now. I don't think they're gonna give him a contract extension past the age of 35. or else he retires by then. or you never know. maybe the new england patriots just wanna move on from Matthew Judon. you gotta remember. it's not the patriots passing these rumors around. it's Matthew Judon. and just because the Patriots have a boatload of money doesn't mean they have to pay a player big money. and maybe Matthew Judon is asking for a lot of money. and knowing the patriots have a boatload of money. and maybe Matthew Judon thinks the patriots will pay him...🤔😏
Two year extension would be alright and then assess from there 👍 it will be interesting to see how he plays after last years injury.
Judon is an Anchor for this team.
Thinking a Pricy 2 year extension or a good and respectable 3-4 year extension for the guy. He does a lot for the team and the offers from the front office will and should reflect that 😎
They got time before July 23rd so we will see what they do!
I would keep him on two year deal. Not this years first round but next year first round for DK Metcalf many one or two of Wide receivers and one new QB. Just my thoughts. What do you think?
Depends on how the rookie wideouts do this year. Would love linemen or draft capital 👍
@@SportsTalkPatriots good linemen would be good start. I just wish they had some 6+ and speedy wide receivers. More draft picks is always good. Be like the Celtics with draft picks.
Cowgirls are all show and no go. Kurt Warner did okay in his 30s
Kurt Warner was awesome!
@@SportsTalkPatriots great story, great man
Bagging groceries to winning a Super Bowl!
@@SportsTalkPatriots Never give in, never give up. I would follow a man like that to the gates of hell. Us Aussies don't mind the heat. lol
Hahaha this comment is the best!
Well, there goes our defense 😞
Steady! Nothing has happened yet!
@@SportsTalkPatriots And who would we get in return? You think a miser like Kraft is gonna go and find Judon’s equivalent? He got rid of Chandler Jones for nothing. He got rid of Was Welker for nothing. Dont fool yourself with hope.
Totally 100% pay the man.. i still say Oakland raiders 👍
Raiders! But they gotta pay him!
@@SportsTalkPatriots Big time
You are not saying anything I have thought
Glad you exist
Glad you exist 👍
Unless it improves the offensive line by 1000% it's a foolish idea. Meaning Unless they can pickup tackles and guards who dramatically improve the offensive line it's not worth trading. Plus eventually the defense will take a hit not having the greatest defensive mind in football there.
1000% improvement 😂 so min. one pro bowler probably haha but I agree with ya!
@SportsTalkPatriots yes value for value if you are going to take away from defense you must replace with equal or greater on offense if you don't your only hurting both sides of the ball.
And not with a wr needs to be a line guy. If you were trading a safety or corner then a wr would be a good idea.
Be a huge mistake to let him go. Foolish mistake.
Agreed, especially if we get little to nothing in return!
This year is going to be a disaster
Kraft doesn't want to win. He wants to virtue signal by hiring mayo. He should of at least tried to sign cousins and draft Harrison jr. And should of hired Mike vrabel. If this teams
Wins more than 6 games I'll gladly come back and eat my humble pie
But that's not happening.
AFC East will be tough, the defense will keep them in most games!
trade him for either 3rd or 4th round pick.
He is worth more than that, especially if the team is a couple pieces away from a Super Bowl…they give up a lot for him!
@@SportsTalkPatriots Don't throw the baby out with the bath water. Let the player show what loyalty gets you. It's a different locker room this year. Expirienced is essential.
For sure!
2 old
Has a lot of gas left potentially though…but get your point…get something while ya can 👍
Management doesn't want to pay him anymore money and don't want him long term, because of his age. But if he accepts minimum wage pay, the patriots will sign him long term. The sad thing the younger players are not good talent wise.
There is some potential young talent but we will have to see!
