This was a phenomenal How To Play series! Very pedagogical and fun. I particularly enjoyed getting to see the content of the starter box fully painted and used for all the examples! I have yet to play my first game but now have a much better idea of what to expect. Big thanks to the creator for putting this series together.
You can field incomplete kill team in narrative and tac ops archetype is of player's choosing. It is not restricted by army. One because some operatives can be slain preventing you from playing. The other probably to make it easier to complete spec ops.
So what happens if you requisition a requisition if you have too many requisition points because you've not used them in the requisition phase and you still have left over requisitions that you could requisition and add to your current requisitions?
I’ve just had a good look and can’t find the answer either. It does mention a limit to 3XP if a casualty test is passed and the battle scar table option 6 says the operative gains no XP, but can’t see anywhere stating when XP is lost other than the rules that mention it on page 99. I’ve looked through the Octarius book and the compendium as well as the core book. Can’t find anything. I wonder if they are leaving in there to take into account future rules/missions?
I believe you skipped over equipment for Narrative Play, and taught the Match Play rules for equipment instead. It says: "In a Spec Ops campaign, your access to this equipment is managed via your stash. When you begin a Spec Ops campaign, there is no equipment in your stash. Instead, you must add equipment to your stash, such as by using the Equipment Drop Requisition." Equipment Drop - "Select up to 5 points worth of your faction’s equipment and add it to your stash." The amount of EPs worth of equipment you can take on that mission, from your stash, is then decided from the bonus EP you gain in Step 7 of the mission sequence, + the standard 10EP you are given in Step 9.
The words and phrases they use are sometimes very annoying. For example, you don't earn 4 requisition points for making a data slate. You start the narrative campaign with 4 requisition points.
13 parts…. WHY WHYYYY SO COMPLICATED… I love these boxes, have a load of them but play very rarely. Wich I regret deeply But it gives me headaches! Like all games of GW… 😢 Am I the only one with these difficulties or WHAT!? Djeeezzzz 😅
Kill Team is very much a tournament ruleset with precise wordy descriptions. I share your pain 🤣 I'm really enjoying Necromunda at the moment, It's a nightmare to get started with (hopefully not anymore thanks to the new core book) but when playing, the mechanics flow nicely and are simpler. Much more narrative based too which I like a lot.
@@tabletopskirmishgames well I have the same feeling when I listen to the Necromunda rules. Also those boxes are made ready to play, looking forward to it! Thanks for the reply and be careful with the headaches 😅😂🙏🏼👍🏼
Thank you for the tutorial! The speed of your speech is just perfect for a non-English speaker like myself to understand easily. Appreciate it!
Glad it was helpful, thank you!

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for watching.
Aaagh made a mistake at 21:00 - 21:33 where I left the cover image! 🙀 It goes back to normal after that. 🤪

Thanks for clarifying that 👊
Your commentary on the use of the word "Requisition" was hilarious!
It was a ridiculous paragraph lol Thanks for watching!
Whew! What a video, this one definitely was gonna be a difficult one to finish. Congrats!
This was a beast! Now I can focus on playing some games 🥳
Looks like a cool campaign set up
Lee, this series is absolutely brilliant. Thanks so much for the content, really helpful. 👍🏻
Thats awesome to hear, thanks so much!
Great video mate. I can't wait to start my narrative with my talons KT
Thanks! Same here, will be playing a lot this week. Have fun! 👊
Excellent series! Now for the Battle Reports!!
Working on the operative videos and then will give it a go!
Just starting to play. Thanks for video
Thats awesome, have fun and thanks for watching!
Thank you for the work that you do!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this series! :)
My pleasure, thank you for watching!
For the q&a how many people can be fielded at a time? I thought there were set teams but just see restrictions on the number of specialists
Thanks, added to the list. I’ll make and post the video tomorrow 👊
With how many players can you play spec ops?
Can I use the Spec Ops rules in a standard match play?
Specs ops rules have a different mission sequence. Each player has to have a dataslate in narrative spec ops games.
So what happens if you requisition a requisition if you have too many requisition points because you've not used them in the requisition phase and you still have left over requisitions that you could requisition and add to your current requisitions?
😉
🤯🤣
can a operative have more than one specialisms?
Where do you find base of operations location options?
These are in the Octarius book for the Krieg or Kommandos.
@@tabletopskirmishgames Thanks, Homie!
How do u lose experience
I cant find anyone with that answer:(

Who is this "Objective-Markus" ?
You don't want to know, he's a nightmare to play against 🤪

Games Workshop, "It's called 'Spec Ops'"
Everyone, "Why?"
