I remembered that they will put the dogs to sleep once they retired as they were deemed not suitable to be kept in public domain. I wonder what is the policy now.

That's when they trained them to be vicious. These dogs today are trained officers, knowing how to handle various situations, doing only what's required.

I know this is old but FYI, there are tons of orginizations that adopt them out when they retire. Or you can get one that isn't exactly what they need or failed a test. That's why the end of the video says " Dogs that will be looking for new homes." Just search it.
