There are english subs in the video, you should definitely watch the vid with them, as it adds a lot to the already striking video. 'Navarasam' is the 9 different emotions that are used in Indian classical music/dance for expression - love, laughter, anger, fear, disgust, wonder, courage, compassion and peace. The video shows all 9 at different points.
The video's theme is about the slow death of traditional art forms - the family represents Kathakali, (one of the 8 classical dance forms of India), but it could be expanded to include all art; and perhaps also all the differences among people. The bullies represent the fast track, trendy society - the danger being that if you do not assimilate, you may eventually be sacrificed, or will eventually cause you to lose yourself... Through the first part of the video, you can see people losing interest and walking away during performances, and at the end, the dancer in yellow and painted blue (traditionally used to show the God, Lord Krishna in Kathakali) takes the soul of the father who has passed away... as now there are no descendants to share the art with.

Navarasam means 9 emotions. The art form portrayed is called kathakali. Its one of the traditional art form in south india. The story is basically about how the traditional is being bullied and buried by the new and trendy. People losing interest in the old. In the end lord comes and takes his soul, representing the art form dying out without an heir to learn it.

Beast of a song. Probably the best metal song to come out of India ever. On that note, you should review Thekkini as well. The starting sequence will blow your mind, especially the lead guitar. He is badass

Its about the plight of the art form kathakali( the dance form of kerala) . About how the culture is growing to neglect the classics and neglecting the past.

As per my understanding i realised that the video shows comments on what seems alien to us we reject try to rage a war against it , this how society works but we have to dive deep into it to find that we need to be more open towards 'other' cultural identity and ready to accept the fusion and variety in society. Interpretation of this song can be various but as our Indian culture is vast you need to find your own path. 🙏🏽 Thanks

New to me too. Well, there was a lot of folky stuff. In the beginning just with the vocals, the music seemed pretty international - but I think the folky vocals were quite alright. It was the end side when the music turned folky too that it became interesting and enjoyed that part more.
I did close my eyes pretty early because it disturbed too much, can't say anything about it.

Hello!! Hmmm🤔.... Kinda pretty neat song and it was cool how they compined these different music styles together.. Meaning the heavy riffs and this Indian/orienral style ofcourse and I am usually very interested to seek something like this and I always share these to my friends😅... SO I kinda liked the instrumentation even it was quite crazy but it worked🤘.. BUT☝️, honestly this was already a bit too orienral for me😬.. with the singing mostly I mean and that kind of singing doesn't really hit me at all😬... The part in the middle with that faster singing worked pretty well for me but other than that it wasn't my thing SO much😅.. but it was nice again to hear something fresh again😂
    Thanks, catch you later👍
