Cory's mom and my grandfather were siblings. His real name is Emil Lewandowski. He changed his last name to his step fathers name in his teens. He was a wonderful singer, father and person. Miss him greatly!!

It was about 53 years ago, in El Paso / Fort Bliss, Texas......heard these guys live, if it wasn't another pot memory....... Along with Grand Funk Railroad and a bevy of other rock bands. Beat the hell out of early morning guard duty for the Army.........

A few of my classmates and I loved that song so much that we pretended to be Three Dog Night when we cleaned the classroom after school.....Will always have much love for them! Cory Wells was the HEART of that group. May he always rest in peace. 🙏❤
