Was I aware that it was NOT a perfect performance? Absolutely. We did two back-to-back evening concerts, but only filmed one of the performances, this was the first night (I believe the 2nd night was better). Was I aware of a few not-totally-in-sync with each other spots between the orchestra and myself? You bet. But I am aware live performances are never perfect, and did I love performing this and want to share? Absolutely. The beauty of a live performance is the energy you feel when you are there. And as a recording artist and composer who does a rare few live performances here and there, it always takes GREAT courage for me to overcome performance anxiety, fear of criticism, and judgment and just put my heart out there because THAT is why I do it. I could never tire of this as well as Angel's We Have Heard On High! Absolutely magnificent performance!! After hearing both of these, I knew I must have this album! It is not an album to just listen to, it is an album to experience! I have listened to many Christmas albums in my life, but not a one has captivated me nor enthralled me as THE Winter Symphony album from 1st piece to the last piece!
