God I hate hearing “See a doctor, see a psychiatrist”. Like yeah, dude, if my life wasn’t so fucked up that I actually had money and insurance I would have seen a doctor 6 years ago.
That’s not his fault. He can’t answer specific questions about you or for you when he has no clue of your situation or your individual illnesses and past treatment, success and failures

Bipolar 2 isnt less severe, the mania is less severe
Hence the name "hypomania"
And meds dont work very well

Bipolar 1 here. After some time in treatment the numbing out goes away.
