How the heck does Home Free do it? They just keep sounding better and better. Brooke Eden sounded just right with them. Voices blended perfectly. Home Free had her singing throughout the entire track. They always respect collaborators that way. I think she is up and coming country artist. Hope this helps her along. I thought our guys looked especially amazing in their western desperado garb. I'm all for it!!

This is FIRE! This song was released by Tanya Tucker when I was in high school (yes, I'm very old) and Home Free and Brooke Eden absolutely killed it! And if that final shot in the video with her eyes under the hat brim doesn't melt your heart you need to check your pulse.

I have never heard of Tanya Tucker. Apart from the writer of the song, the person who first discovered the song and brought it to public attention was Bette Midler, in a masterful rendition on The Divine Miss M.

Such a great song! Bette Midler did it first in 1971 but I remember Tanya Tucker & Helen Reddy's versions. The guys did a really nice job backing up Brooke Eden on this song. They never take away from a guest vocalist. And how cool did they all look dressed in the western theme. Reminded me of the Clint Eastwood spaghetti western movies I used to watch.

Brooke sounds a lot like Tanya on this one.
You talk as if Tanya Tucker (who I had not heard of before this song was released, but then I'm not a country fan) wrote the song. In fact she picked it up from Bette Midler's debut album, the incredible The Divine Miss M. Apart from a recording by the writer, Bette's was the first and many would say the best version of the song. This is about as good as Bette's rendition,, in fact Brooke's voice is slightly reminiscent of Bette's.
