Sheer brilliance. Your knack for explaining the most complicated things in such a simplified, engaging and interesting manner is really commendable. Thank you Dr. Sid!
I am big fan of you doc… your simplicity, zeal , knowledge and art of explanation is fantastic. A big thanks to you and TH-cam for giving such a quality content for free. Tons of happiness and good wishes to you 😊
After watching the full video I know so many things about ohr brain related to our Happiness and Fears our Dopamine release and Amygdala .. Thank you so much for such a good content and literally in such a easy way... Dr. Sid 😇🙌
I discovered you from The Ranveen Show & those two podcasts blew my mind, now i'm one of your subs, hope you'll bring more of such topics. Appreciate your work. ❤
You are explaining in the very easiest way. Thank you sir. First time I listen to you with Shobha Rana. Then everyday I am continuing to listen to you. You are having such great knowledge.
Humans know what's good for them but they don't do it due to many factors. Let's say for eg we heard the saying not to worry about fruits, focus on efforts. But we do think/worry about results. Describe this in neuroscience terms.
Thank you millions times for giving this valuable brain education for free!! I really appreciate every single word you said in this video (BTW you are one of my favorite youtuber of all time )❤

We heard a lot about dopamine. This is the first time i am hearing the term Amygdala. Thanks for explaining in a simple way. Am hitting the subscribe button 🧠

Sir I watch all ur videos!!💗 Sir u explain so beautifully nd with so much simplification!! High respect to u !! Highly commendable!! Awaiting more such amazing nd awesome content!!😍
Mann... The way he explained and used sound and video during the explanation for fight or flight response of amygdala activation. I really became anxious!! What the F was that... Phew!! You are awesome Dr. Sid.
If we tend to get attracted towards bright red color, then why do we use the same bright red color to highlight danger? Is it because we want to grab our attention towards the dangerous message/information?
Red has the highest wavelength, so its visible from far compared to any other color. That's the reason in signal or danger situation we are using red, so that it will be noticed from far. The concept of VIBGYOR is also based on that, Violet has shortest wavelength and Red has the highest.
Hey Sid, a huge fan of your work. Learnt and still learning a lot from your videos. However, just wanted to make a suggestion/request to try using something else to quote as an example other than snakes. I've a tremendous fear of snakes/reptiles to a level of I can say phobia. My mind completely shut down when you used snakes as examples and you literally showed them on the screen. I had to go back and hear you out again while covering my eyes.
Wowiee warrior sid💛💚 you're really helping the ones caught in the tunnel It is that, dopamine protects amygdala and amygdala protects dopamine. But what is that thing that protects both of them?
Your videos are so interesting, I listen to them while doing my exercise . The ads interrupt. I know we need to monetize , but perhaps beginning and end . Too many in between ? Thanks
Hi Dr Sid, this information is been a breakthrough in my healing journey. I was always working on my self worth and happiness. I dint realise I have to also heal my pain and fear beliefs that are holding myself back. As you said balance both pain and pleasure is the key. So now I am going to address all fear and pain I developed as a child and heal from to live my fullest potential in present. I usually freeze before taking a new action or habit that I know is good for me even simple steps. I always procrastinate it and wonder why I am doing this as I know I am capable and will give me satisfaction. Now I know why I hold myself back. Thank you so much. I also understand fear is my friend and is always by my side to protect me from danger. Could you pls guide me any steps on how I can train my fear or amygdala. And address addiction.
Hi, I love these topics like psychology, sociology, Evolutionary Biology, Neuroscience, Philosophy, Psychoanalysis, Cognitive Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience, Neuroplasticity... Yes it feels a bit weird 🙃 But according to these what career should I pursue? And yes I am 23 now, but finding these things and developing interest in them took so much time... But now I want to shift my career.
Hey, amazing video! Discovered you on relationshit advice and I'm really glad I did. Although I'd like to ask your reasoning behind both amygdala and dopamine being active when one falls in love as I've read that amygdala actually gets deactivated when one falls in love suggesting lessening of fear.
Do you (Dr. Sid) still feel happy or sad ? I ask this because whenever you feel happy or sad, you ( i.e. your brain a.k.a frontal lobe) would have analysed that this is happening because of this. So after learning all this and knowing all this, do you get the same level of happiness as before, i.e. before knowing these concepts, for a thing you liked, say for example eating chocolates P. S. Doubt from a commerce student P. P. S. You look happy while you explain these concepts (i think your frontal lobe has no idea about this)
Maybe to not feel happy or sad you would need to analyze it every single time you feel those emotions. Come on who does that. Everyone lives in the moment rather analyzing about reason making him/her happy or sad.

I recently discovered about behavioural analysis and honestly I find it more useful than psychology or neuroscience.
What are your thoughts Dr. Sid?
Both neuroscience and psychology form building blocks of our understanding that leads to behavioural analysis
@@Sidwarrier true! Every subject is interconnected .
I heard you on Ranbeer show on TRS clips lts good you have started your own version. good luck! best wishes from my side.
