- We finally got our things moved in! I wanted to vlog a little behind the scenes of the reality of move in day. We had our household goods dropped off a couple days after moving into our home. I decided to unbox a majority of our things myself and had the movers help setup big pieces like tables.

We are moving to the island in June. I'm so excited and overwhelmed all at the same time. We are a family of 5 and the frustration is real. Good luck with getting everything together in the house. Oh, and don't forget to file your claim, they are pretty good with replacing losses and damages!
Good luck! Everything will work out well! I got lazy with filing claims for damages but the house is finally finished. I hope you have a safe and smooth move!
How long did it take for your things to get there after you guys moved into the house and how long did it take for y’all to get your home?
I think we waited a few days, definitely not longer than a week.

Hi Kimberley! I've watched all of your PCS to Hawaii videos because my husband & I are PCSing to Oahu in April. Thanks for you help! I had a few questions for you - How long did it take to ship everything over? We're coming from SF Bay Area. Also did you ship a car and how long did it take to arrive? How did you find on base housing so quickly? Did you do the wait list before you arrived in HI or did you just get lucky? Thanks again for your help!
Hi! Thank you so much for watching! You might already be on island but it took our things about a month for everything to get on island. With COVID there was no wait so we got lucky but I'll be making a video separately to answer these specific questions!
