Lifting or Cardio? Why Not BOTH!

Team Peak has been doing a whole lot of both lately. Lifting AND running…. and burpee-ing and muscle-up-ing, all in preparation for the CrossFit Games semifinals at the end of the month.
At the start of this video, we are prepping for the lifting event, which is a complex of three cleans two front squats and one jerk. My boy Tola could potentially put up the world record there! What do you think think he is capable of hitting? How about me? 

After that, we do some squatting. Back then overhead, which is another semis event that I’m excited for!
After a little refuel, we’re back for a metcon that was extra gnarly in this Miami heat! The “feels like” temp has been over 100 degrees Fahrenheit the last two weeks.
Either way, I’m hopeful that we’ll be fully prepared for semifinals. Keep your eyes peeled for a final semi prep video coming soon, followed a recap of the entire semis weekend!
Then, hopefully, it’s two months of prepping for the big show at the CrossFit Games, in Ft. Worth Texas for the very first time!

Noah i bet you’d look fierce with a shaved head. A no. 1 guard should be sufficient. It lets heat escape your body faster if you’re lookin for a strategic justification.
