      Anything to do with the whole body, as opposed to regional, for example a drug given intravenously will have a rapid systemic distribution.

      My PhD looks for systemic factors contributing to emergence of social systems... i am kind of lost cus systemic is hardly discussed in this area ..

      I guess what systemic means in the context you are discussing it means factors to do with the totality of systems the way the whole systems are working as opposed to the way that some components of the system are working. In other words it sounds like you are looking at the picture things as opposed to minutiae. I guess the systemic factors would also have a degree of universal applicability, for example systemic factor in supply and demand will be the need for people to eat and drink, because it applies to the totality of the components of the system. The other interesting area to look at will be 'emerging factors'. From a complex system behaviours and phenomena can emerge, for examples consciousness is an emerging factor from the individual functions of neurons in the brain.

      Yes exactly ... i am looking at the system within a whole and to the relationships that make up its organizational patterns as well the structures
