This is simply perfect. Full explanation of the healing process in a way almost anyone can make sense of.
I cut my ankle the other day, including severing a very small surface blood vessel, and this explains everything. And I'm watching it for free on my phone. What an age we live in, and what a nice guy Dr Campbell is to put the time and effort in to provide this for us!

Thanks for such a superb presentation. The clear perfectly timed speech is so important to any presentation like this. You make me wish I had studied this sort of stuff for my career! This also makes me realise that no computer program or AI system will ever replace a great communicator like yourself. Thanks again.

@@AhmetHabsa Yes. Except because the existence of God can neither be proven nor disproven, it makes me strongly suspect rather than believe. The fact that so much of nature is and always will be far beyond anything humans could conceive or design is another compelling argument.

I thank you for your time to explain something most people do not understand... I have been dealing with ulcers that have had gangrene and nearly cost me my leg about 25yrs ago... now again I am dealing with making sure my scars do not open backup, often busting open about twice a year.. I have never had anyone explain things as well as you have... another scar that I have had has busted open and ended up with showing gangrenous necrosis... I've been diagnosed with Pryoderma Gangrenosum... among other health issues and all I get from physicians is all that can be done is treat the issues as they happen...

Ok. Some people are just gifted. He made that lecture feel like every wound that is out there depended on it. I am here because my lovely sister has been chosen by a large leg wound. I am glad to learn that a wound that looks so bad is because so much is going as it takes time to heal. The same skin that has been used to cause so much racism is the same skin that hides the mess underneath it which without , no man is presentable to an eye that helps the mind in presenting and judging one another. A broke skin exposes decay so we ought to celebrate rather than make it a human enemy.Thank you Dr C for knowledge. Thanks TH-cam. Thank you lovely people.

This is a great lecture for helping me understand my foot ulcer. Unfortunately, mine is a diabetic foot ulcer that was caused by a simple blister on a charcot foot. I am watching this very slow healing over a period of months. I go to an Infectious Disease Center three times a week for antibiotic infusions and wound care. So tired of it. It will be for at least six months. The good news is the ulcer has not gone close to the bone so less chance of bone infection and foot amputation. Diabetes is a MONSTER.

Took me years to cure 2 leg ulcers despite the odd visits to a clinic. I eventually figured it out, used honey dressings combined with dressing which drained the ulcer. Thus was first done in a clinic but with no explanation, so I did not continue. If 2 minutes were used to explain the process I would have healed in a month. A pharmacist explained it to me, not a nurse or doctor.....my hero

Can you please share what brand of honey you used and how often you changed it please? Did you use saline to clean it out before applying honey? Was the honey applied on the gauze first? Sorry so many questions just desperate for a bed sore ulcer. Thank you

    • @johnburman966

@@jesus.ceciliarodriguez6496 Ok. The trick is to draw off the exudation. There are sponge dressings that do this, changed every few days when full, may be smelly. Then use a Manuka honey dressing, or try a jell dressing with Manuka honey smeared on it, covered with elastoplast or bandage. You will have to experiment. The secret is the keeping the ulcer moist but drained and the antibiotic effect of the honey working. Good luck.

@@NoName88837 ha ha you went off topic quickly lol 😂 and then ranted about something that has nothing to do with what I commented about! Typical knee jerk reaction when there is a coherent argument !

@@NoName88837 dude I’m just stating facts! I dare you to throw some amino acids in a petri dish and see if you can engineer something that is alive and capable of healing itself never mind It feels like I’m preaching to the choir and no I wasn’t talking smack and I didn’t intend to offend anyone and I apologize to those I may have offended! I am still in in awe at how efficient our body’s are built if u mess up one letter in the dna 🧬 code then everything goes wrong Wow God is so awesome
