Either you believe that a coffee shop giving everyone glass cups with each purchase is a feasible thing or you believe that people should bring their own glass to the coffee shop. Both possibilities are completely braindead.
I'd love to see a life cycle analysis on this. I have a feeling that it takes at least 100 reuses of these plastic cups before they become 'better' than paper cups (and I strongly doubt they last that long). They're certainly never going to be cheaper, not even close. There's countless projects like these, where the calculations made are laughably naive and the product ends up being worse for the environment, 10x more expensive and 10x more inconvenient than what it's meant to replace.
I have ordered a “coffee to go” maybe three or four times in my 47 years of life! I quickly realized that I'm perfectly capable of waiting a few minutes until I get to the office. At work I drink coffee from a cup. Tastes much better too. The most important advantage of waiting, however, is that my employer pays for my coffee!😜
There is an invention called glass, they use it to make small containers for coffee ... very practical
This is for coffe to go; which is not practical or economic to serve into glass containers.

This video could really use half the amount of B-roll shots. A 7:30 min video with 3-4 minutes of actual information is pretty annoying.
Far from first of its kind, Germany has had a deposit recycling scheme for a long time
Why make it ugly though?
