So glad to hear and see you’re all doing alright! You shouldn’t feel silly for worrying/feeling sad about hair loss, I would think it would be really upsetting, however, your hair looks lovely! Seems like you have nice thick hair so its not really noticeable! I’m really excited for Stardew Valley in The Sims 2, that’s been something I’ve been waiting to try in my own time eventually one day as well. I’d also be interested in Rimworld, its on my wishlist but I don’t really know much about it or know whether or not it would be my thing so I’d love to see what its like from you since we seem to have similar taste in games. Thank you for saying Life by You doesn’t look very good, I completely agree, I’ve given up watching their update videos even, just not really excited about it at all. However, I would absolutely watch your content on it to understand more and see your raw honest take on it! I definitely need a Sims 2 lover to test it out to determine whether its for me or not!😂
Ohhhh I'd love to teach you Rimworld, I think you would really love it 😍 and yessss I haven't given up watching the LBY videos either but the more I see, the more concerned I get! First step they HAVE to take is to correct the anatomy of the character models, in particular their shoulders and arms... Then we'll see haha

It takes a long time for the C section area to feel normal. Mine was numb for years.
Once Emi hits 6 months, since I recall you do BLW, you might want to try the Ezpz Tiny Open Cup and avoid attempting bottles altogether. She knows that bottle is a fake. 😂

Beth, i am mom like you with the same age gap babies :) just mine is 3 and 4 now. Hang in there it does gets easier and i do remember how difficult it was , but i am happy that it passed and i did experienced all that it made me stronger as a person ;) mom guilt is just going to be there as long as we are moms ;D so just try to quiet that guilt voice :D
But i believe that you are doing great ❤️ all the health to you and your beautiful family ❤

Hi! I've missed you!!! I understand how you feel about sending Aiden to childcare, but I agree that it can definitely be good for him (aside from the sickness' he is around) because I can imagine it will help him socialize. I was always told as my dog was a puppy that socializing as a puppy is super important so I can imagine human babies are similar in that aspect. I'm glad you're taking care of yourself by getting therapy! I think hair loss is probably bad after births because you maybe lose a lot of biotin from growing a human so you might need more biotin. 🤷🏼♀️ I'm excited for more Sims videos! My laptop with ts3 burnt out so I can't play that anymore, I've been playing ts1 lately because that's all that works well for me 😅 I can't buy a new computer now because my fiance and I are saving for our wedding next year 🥰 and trying to buy a house too so I gotta save all the money I can. I love being engaged though, total bridal brain over here haha. But yeah! Excited to see you and glad to hear you're doing alright! 🩷🩷🩷🩷

Welcome back! We're happy to get any amount of content, I have a 2 year old so I get it; it gets crazy. The hair stuff is wild, Im still pulling out chunks and have some thinning at the front but we keep on haha. Love that you're doing self care when you can and therapy. Rimworld is an excellent game, I played it Post Partum and its nice because you can pause it and pick up where you left off like life simulators.
So glad you're a fellow Rimworld fan! It is a wonderful game to play post-partum isn't it, just pulls you right in haha. 2 year olds are nuts! My son is literally the sweetest kid but then sometimes will just be a complete monster too haha. Hopefully our hair recovers one day 🙈
I’m very much looking forward to your new content when you can make it. Like I’m not usually very into Sims 3 content or knowledgeable but I’m totally willing to go looking through the back content you have of it to give it a try. Always on board for more Sims 2 OFB content. I’m playing a custom hood atm that’s OFB centered and while I love it, I struggle. Other games will be fun like Life By You and Stardew in the Sims 😊 Whatever you do just have fun!
You have definitely been through a lot bless you! But you are a super trooper! 😊 I also had a speech delay when I was a toddler, I didn’t actually start speaking properly until I was about 3/4! But please don’t let it worry you, Aidan will learn in his own time 😊 also once he settles better, child care will help him develop with it too! You are doing amazing Beth, very proud of you xx
Thank you lovely! Would have never guessed you had a speech delay - I think it is actually quite common! I'm sure his words will continue to come in their own time, we just want to make sure we are supporting him however we can 😊😊

I found you through Sims2. Thought it was lovely! FYI, I feel the same about life by you but that’s how I feel about Sims 3 and it’s the same creator. I would love to play with Paralives. I understand your time issues! I had a channel and had to return to work and decided to stop uploading because of the hours I spent editing!!! Lol Wish you the best!

So excited to hear from you. I'm glad things are going well. Excited for new content. Loved the hot take on Life By You. I also think it looks.... not the best. The gameplay looks like a huge red flag (because it doesn't look like it exists) but we will see. Take your time coming back. Do what you can. I've recently been reminding myself of working on improving 1% everyday and not comparing myself to others. It's been really helpful. Keep taking care of yourself and show yourself as much grace as you can afford. ❤
YES I agree, LBY's gameplay looks... erm... a little bit non-existent?! LIke "oh you can mod in anything you want" - okay, but what do we actually DO in the game? haha. For me the biggest red flags though are the animations and the characters; in a life simulation I really think those are two things you want to nail.

I recommend on top of trying to get speech therapy (free through the hospital) I recommend NDIS and early intervention would be helpful for him. They will help with all aspects of development. :)

I fully understand the not wanting the bottle my daughter was just the same and I could not wean her off, it was a struggle to put her onto solids, she was nearly one when I finally got her off and eating food.
Yeah I'm a bit worried about how weaning is going to go with her haha, she LOVES the milk. We'll see though, maybe she will love food so much that she'll want rid of me eventually...
I would LOVE to see you play RimWorld!! With your gameplay style you could do so much with it! I just got into it and the people who make content around it focus on guns and Being Good and Optimization instead of the incredible storytelling potential.
Haha as I said, I'm truly not the best Rimworld player because yes, I tend to neglect the optimisation and min maxing side of the game and my bases grow organically and turn out all whacky and weird lol. I do have a lot of fun though
That sounds great! Too much optimization is boring. I love to play RimWorld in a style closer to the sims where I'm just trying to make my pawns happy, build a weird religion, and watch the babies grow up. I think if you took your awesome storytelling and worldbuilding skills and applied them to RimWorld you'd make something cool.
I'd watch you play Rimworld for sure! 😄 It's been on my Steam list for ages and since I haven't got the time for the games I'm already playing, I doubt I'll have the time anytime soon to start trying out new games. Rimworld is really really fun! I think you would really enjoy the colony management side of it, it can be quite detailed. If you're interested in learning about the game via YT videos (until I get around to it haha) I highly recommend a channel called "Pete Complete", he does the BEST Rimworld series 👌☺️
