    Your videos always stand out from every other part install video. The detail from everything being removed to everything being put back together. Thanks and have a great holiday!

    After seeing so many blue r7, damn the black looks good. I don't know why blue is so dominant. Black is tight. I'm not against blue, but damn... Everyone and their grandma has a blue r7.

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yea man, it took me hours to decide. I was lucky to have both to choose from but I just couldn’t get over the navy blue on the blue bike so I went with the black which you can never go wrong with. But next year the bike has a white with red rim option that looks sick

    • @zwurka6826
      @zwurka6826 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think people want blue because it’s Yamaha lol.

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea for sure I really wanted the blue one but the deep blue on the side just ruined it for me or I would have got the blue one

    I’m going to be sending my ecu to Toce since I have their exhaust. But my question is since I’m still kind of a noob with bikes. That black box you unplugged at 5:40 is the ECU correct?

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No worries yes, the little black box we removed around 550 was the ECU

    Good video, I have been debating going with with that on both bikes. 🤔 might have to give a deeper look.
    Also, still waiting on the attacks I see.

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks man, might be worth the bench version and a few licenses to save money and do both bikes.
      Haha yup attack is loosing my interest hopefully I’ll talk with them at MotoAmerica next week

    Can you update this video? What are your thoughts on 2WDW? Thoughts on power commander?

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I really need to, I’m hoping to get something out for it in aug, to much stuff going on at work right now. I think the 2wdw would be good. The power commander is going to be hard to install and the last time I looked which was a long time ago they sell it for the r7 but I didn’t see any tunes with them

    • @zachgarnett
      @zachgarnett ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Awesome video brother question when purchasing the tune from tst do I need anything extra or just that ? Also do I need to upgrade any parts for the tune meaning like air filter etc I feel pretty confident with your videos to try this myself on the R7 🤞

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Of course man, let me know how the tune goes. Im trying to get mine done this summer when racing stops. I got a racer the works at a shop near me that specializes in Yamaha and races r1 and r7 in MotoAmerica I think the tune will be a big difference

    Does FTECU tune offer a kit that does not require wiring into the ECU?

    • @ScoutsOut

      Yes its a bench side, you remove the ecu and plug it not your computer

    Why did you go this route instead of going with a Auto Tuner?

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I liked the idea of getting deeper into tuning later if I wanted to understand it and the live diagnostics I can do with it are cool. I also liked the idea of getting another license for additional bikes. Plus it comes with a basic unrestricted map that is good enough. I had also seen other vids of people importing maps from other tuning programs which I thought was cool

    When you unplug the cpu, do you first need to disconnect the battery?

    Have you swapped your tires yet are you enjoying the new ones did you go Pirellis? 🤔

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I only replaced the rear so far with another s22, I’m going to get a little more mileage out of them and swap them out. I got the Aprilia tuono 660 and it has super corsa tire on it and they are awesome, I might go that route with the r7. Hell I almost took them off the Aprilia and put them on the r7 lol

    e-tune is better or same as pro tune if just upgrade the Yoshimura exhaust?

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would say a professional that works on our specific bikes and can dyno it was tuning for the specific intake, exhaust etc. mods you have on your bike is going to be better. What I went with gives a decent base tune for intake and exhaust and the ability to tweek later

    Dude is talking smack about windows when every pro tuning shop uses them to tune bikes/cars the reason why no one uses shitbox macs for tuning is because apple only allows things on their App Store that is willing to roll over and sell them majority of their company wrights
