I've had one of these for a while now and it also runs at an average of -1s/day. The leather strap that it came with was pretty good and I use it on a more expensive watch after getting a green canvass strap for this watch - very comfy.
Thanks for this video. I got mine with the steel band and it's a fantastic watch. I put a cheap leather band on it and it looks really sharp. I enjoy the movement, but it does take some strength to wind.
Tandorio is definitely the top dawg in terms of pilot watches under $100. To get a sapphire Crystal, screw down crown, screw in caseback, and pt500 movement upgrade for under $100? Hate all yall want, but value for money, Tandorio knows what they’re doing.
Seiko will never use sapphire crystal on their watches because they've made their own crystal called Hardlex. If you're dead set on a sapphire crystal it wouldn't be too much effort to change it (as long you have the proper tools).
I'm glad that you're happy with yours. The PT5000 in mine is a poor performer...it loses a lot of time daily. It's one of the reasons that I don't love my Tandorio.
@@the_once-and-future_king. Magnetization usually results in a watch running fast -- not slow. That said, I have a demagnetizer and I can always give it a shot.
Those jewelers glasses worked great 👍 and that pt5000 movement I’ve wanted a watch with with that movement for awhile, found this for a very affordable price.
@@gurkandeveciI have the same watch and I work in the Maritime industry which is destructive to just about anything I bring out on the ship. I haven't went to any great depths but my watch has survived some hot showers with decent water pressure. It's also survived getting knocked around on steel railings, vibrations with pneumatic tools chipping rust and my watch has never fogged under the crystal and still keeps great time. I will say the lume is not that great just as mentioned in the video but I get through a 4 hour night watch well enough in a dark bridge when underway at night. Trust me when I say, if something can survive a tour of duty on a ship, it is worth whatever you paid for it. Hope this helps out.

I'm hoping they send me the leather band they owe me, I only saw it in photos but it looked decent.

I really like this watch and am impressed with the movement. It does have more resistance than say an nh35 to wind it but nothing crazy.
The steel band transforms it. Love the jeweller's glasses!
They helped a lot, I struggle a bit seeing the smaller stuff really helped out.
@@bluecollarwatches7048 I'm the same. I have reading glasses for close ups 😭
If only I could get the metal clanp on watch band. Will not go over hand and secure on my wrist. large hand and smaller wrist.
I've just purchased one of these exactly like this one and also an addeisdive steel pilot strap to compliment it can't wait till I get them
I’m impressed with the pt5000, I have the AddiesDive with a nh35 in it to. Nice watches for the money.

@@mugiwaratrii4545 absolutely 👍
That engineered style bracelet looks great on that watch.
Tandorio have a nice range at good prices
Thanks, enjoyed your video, enjoy your watch sir
I ordered a diver style one also, I'm really liking the pt5000 movement.
Cool find from sixto too
Yes they helped me a lot !
Nice find!
Thanks, been wanting a watch with this movement but didn’t want to spend a lot.
I am about to buy a Tandorio watch. They look great and have good price. How is it going with yours? did it hold up till now?
I’m a big fan of this brand, the lume isn’t that good but they are great watches to wear to work.
@@bluecollarwatches7048 Thanks for the replay. I am going to buy one these days just not sure about what dial to get yet :)

I have one seiko with sapphire, it’s from the coutora collection and it’s a solar. They kinda pricey but I got mine on sale.

I’ve only had it a few days, I’ve pretty much heard nothing but good things about this movement. Guess you got a lemon 🍋
It could need demagnetising. A local watch repairer could help you with that. It's worth a shot.

Have you reached out to their customer service?
Idk if I've asked this before but have you reviewed any of those Olev watches?
Not yet, I’ve looked at them but never had one yet.
Nice. Which is the accuracy?
When I time-graphed it it came out to +1 a day.
Cool watch especially for the price can't beat that.
I'm happy that you got great use out of them

Seiko hardlex is more shatter resistant than sapphire.
@@jackkeller737 maybe, I don’t smack my crystal’s on purpose 😂
What is your wrist size please
7 3/4”
@@bluecollarwatches7048 thanks for the reply.. I have a similar sized wrist. Was worried about this model being to small but it looks great!
How's the lume?
The lume on Tandorio watches is poor, that’s the one draw back with this brand.
You said 39mm, calipers show 36.7.
39 is what Tandorio site states.
@@bluecollarwatches7048can you confirm if yours is 39mm or 36.7? I think the measurement was wrong.
@@teratonlostroscos4311 its 39mm
Did you ever test water resistent?
No, I don’t trust anything these watches say when it comes to water resistance, I rarely get them wet anyway.
@@bluecollarwatches7048 thank you.

Thanks for the support !
This is more like a Vietnam era field watch than a pilot watch.
