Lol! There is such a difference in a woman's attitude when she has long hair. I see it all over TH-cam. It makes you feel confident and full of life. I've noticed a difference in myself now that my hair is past my shoulders. I don't wear it out often, but whenever I blow it our and/or straighten it, I can't stop playing in it! It's just a difference feeling having long hair vs short. Well, hair is out crowning glory!

as a white woman, I cannot imagine having hair that's so curly that when pulled, it's twice as long! I also can't imagine having a "hair monster"! I love seeing the transition; you're very patient!!! (and have an adorable smile!)
One question: now that your hair is past your bra, do you have people telling it all the time? when mine was that long, it felt like people (esp women) would touch or grab it. it was very odd and intrusive!
BytchEPoo you said it.. The reason they want to touch it , is to see if you have any clip ons or a piece sewed in. What I do take a back piece of hair and pull it up for them, and they are satisfied.

Every time I go onto a natural sisters page and see their progress it makes me proud because you sisters probably didn't even know your hair could be that long, healthy and can we all say absolutely beautiful chemical free! I think the greatest thing about this video is the fact that you treated every Stage in your journey as a milestone. You didn't seem to discouraged like many naturals get. Which can make the Journey feel like a Battle. Kudos! Loved the video!

so nice you can show your hair journey from start to finish. Looking for someone on their hair journey that's in their early 40's .... we have different hair because of hormones changing. It seems like everyone on you tube doing natural hair journey's are 20 something yrs old.
I am in my 40s and went natural two years ago. My hair is starting to get gray streaks, which I love. My hair length meets my bra strap. I am hoping to have waist length by 2015. I want to prove that older women can grow hair naturally without chemicals.

I have never, ever had this much natural/healthy hair on my head (arm pit length). You have helped by showing that if you find out what works for your hair, how to take care of it, to be patient, & let's not forget protective styles, that it will indeed grow. You are so inspiring. You were happy even when you had short hair. I am now transition. I had shoulder length hair then i shaved the back and keep about only 3-4 inches of the front hair. A lot of people told me i should of keep my hair the way it was that its ugly. I was so close to reperming my hair and then i saw your video. Thank you so much.
