I’m going too watch the game against Ilves live in Tele2 Arena and after seeing what they did too Austria Wien and how we pretty much can’t score if we don’t do a banger I’m ready for heartbreak. And the conference league has been crazy, in the second and first rounds I checked the results all the time too make sure we wouldn’t get too hard of an opponent so I saw how eg a club from San Marino went trough and how Maccabee Haifa almost came back in an match that was 3 - 0 on aggregate which they managed too overcome by scoring 6 goals away.

Funny I stumbled on this- I'm on vacation in Belgium and happened to be in Ghent the same time they had their ECL Qualifier against Silkeborg, and decided to book a ticket as they were relatively cheap and it seemed like a good night out. By the end of the game, Silkeborg had been leading 2-1 after being awarded a penalty at the start of the second half, just for Ghent to score an equaliser in the 92nd minute- forcing extra time. Ghent went on to win with a 118th minute winner. The scenes were incredible and now I am Ghent fan for life. Incredible game of football!
Europa League and the conference league are easily the best. The match quality is wild, reminds me of online FIFA back in 2010-2012 days. LMAO, it's just wild, random and beautiful.
Because, nowadays, the Champions League is literally just "The Top 7 European Leagues and a couple guests". It's getting to the point where you could just have one team representing Eastern Europe. That's weird for a continental tournament
except for the win against AEK there's nothing that surprising. There's something more crazier. A team form second romanian division which won the cup faced a 2nd place team form hungary's first division and demolished the 0-4 away from home in the europa league. Then they faced the 2nd place team form Croatia, Rijeka which they lost on aggregate 2-1 and still dominated them the entire second half of the second game. Now they're in the conference league battling against Astana from khazakstan and in the first game it was 2-1 for Astana. They still got chances to qualify but its gonna be hard for them. I respect Noah, they've got a quality squad after looking it up and i was quite shocked to see them winning against AEK. Good luck for Noah!!!
@progameruwu1426 eventhought we lose, I think we played really well. I watched Djurgården play at Sweden in July and I was suprised how well we competed against them. Ofc I was a little bit disappointed, but now we can put 100% of our efforts to the league. Also I have understandt that our club has really impacted with a positive way by getting ~500k euros from succeeding. The qualifications have also been good time to show our players to bigger clubs and I have understand that our propably best player Santeri Haarala is now rumored to join Djurgården in coming weeks. And also not to forget about a amazing experience at the stadium. I was at the fan section waving supporterflags (i dont know if that is the right term). And it was really amazing to be able to feel the emotion of success at out new stadium after few challenging years.
Almost every match in qualification is a history made for those nations. Imagine competing, waiting the whole season just to pass 1 or 2 legs in European qualifications. Great content!
Check out the 2nd legs of Śląsk Wrocław vs St Gallen and Wisła Kraków (mid-table team on second tier of Polish football that won the domestic cup!) vs Spartak Trnava.
Responding to the question of the day, I cannot play soccer(casually) without at leas ankle height socks, cant do anything lower than that because the ankle area of the cleats rubs against my achilles tendon and i get blisters, also cant play without long-sleeves. Grew up in a caribbean country so the sun would get feisty and long-sleeves are the way to go(also adds style and flair 😂)
Personally I think Conference League should just be for countries that wouldn't have their representative in UCL nor UEL. Like do we really need clubs from top 5 in there?
I also love the Conference League. I'm from Poland and our teams have a better chance to achieve anything there. I like clashes of big clubs with underdogs and the ensuing surprises. The channel that broadcasts the Champions League here demands too much for a subscription so I ditched it and bought the one with the Europa and Conference League for three times less and still have La Liga and Serie A in the package. Excited for the new season! 🔥🔥
Sad part is this is just a test run for euefa and will see if they can continue to run it and if it is not financially sound they will not continue it granted i don't believe they will give up here as they may try something else completely new if there's enough club support which from what I've seen its kinda favorable as long as it doesn't keep going to English or French clubs as the whole point was for "lesser clubs" have a chance for european glory

I'm a fan of a Bosnian club FK Velež. Yes that is a real club and yes we actualy have a stadium, fanbase etc... But the reason I'm saying this is that recently we faced off against Andoran club Inter Descaldes in the Confrence league qualifying and we got fucking hammered 5-1. 5-1. I know you're an Arsenal fan and that you have seen that scoreline before but imagine reciving it against and Androan club
@zedgenius9347 if we had beaten Inter we would have faced AEK. I can remember alot of our fans saying that it's gonna be a rematch, but after the game against Inter I think it's honestly better we didn't face them cuz we would have lost like 7-1. Oh and also one of our players Nermin Haskins whi has been our best player for the past couple of years apparently betted on us to Lose and has just been released by the club
I'm honestly looking forward to seeing how Chelsea go in the UECL this season (yes, I'm a Chelsea fan), assuming that they do actually win the play-off and qualify for the competition proper and not just treat it as a throwaway tie. It'll be another European trophy to add to the cabinet if they can win it. Thing is, I'd be more confident if we still had Pochettino as manager, now they're just a team in transition again and I have no idea how Maresca's going to do.
As a Fiorentina fan, it would be cool to lose the third consecutive final against Chelsea ngl (The suffering is unbearable and i want to end this, even if i love the Conference League)

I always laugh at the face of UCL top dogs fans because they are all about "it's the best competition" and I mean, they're not wrong that it's the "best" but it's not a "competition" if you can guess who's going to become the champion on the first round of the group stage.
Lol it's probably way more difficult to predict the winner of the Champions League than of the Conference League. Chelsea is going to win the Conference League.
I didn't watch any matches, but I do follow the results etc. - and in the play-offs... of course we do have Chelsea, Betis Sevilla and Heidenheim in there, but Armenian side FC Noah for example won 3:0 in the first leg against Slovakian Ruzomberok. Also, there are sides involved from Wales, Lithuania, Azerbaijan,...
As a Chelsea fan I still hope we lose the playoff Not having the fixture congestion would be a MASSIVE boost to our top four hopes We saw what happened to Villa at the end of last season who only got top four because Spurs had relegation form to end the year West Ham falling apart as well the year before Spurs getting top four after being eliminated from the Conference League because they got covid
Congratulations for the video. Great content. Football is bigger than Man City, Real Madrid, Barcelona and all this big clubs. I would appreciate if you call it 'football' and not 'soccer'. I'm a Fiorentina enthusiast and despite being (alongside Chelsea) a very big name for this competition, they could very well not make it to the League Phase because they failed to win the first leg against an ambitious Hungarian side.
The Conference League is actually pretty good with some good teams in there just because they ain't household names it doesn't mean they're bad. I do wonder what the new format will do to all European competitions though. As for it in the previous format it was dope last season but othee then the Legia fans(and more perhaps)being wronguns there's one big issue that being the referring standard like they were shocking I thought the refereeing in the Premier League was bad but this is next level that's certainly something they need to fix if they really want to make the Conference League (they're dropping the Europa part) into a big competition.

Due too being a Djurgården fan (Sweden) I have been following the conference league and quite frankly, I’m terrified.
Lets go Ilves! Greetings from Finland
see you on thursday !! ill be in the away section just like against austria vienna 😎
@@slslskspslba2407 Will be excited too see you there! Was at the first game against Progres (from Luxembourg) and the away section was completely empty so it will be nice too see some fans for a change.
@@oedogaming9087 I quess we will bring in like 150-200 people 😁😅 It’s not anything crazy, but atleast something! I’m glad the tie ain’t over yet so I can once again hope for a miracle. Your away section here in Tampere was top notch, proper European football culture and honestly the following could have easily been from a Bundesliga club lol. You guys rock and have one of the best fan cultures in Europe. I hope we will have even 20 % of it some day!
I wish for your loss as an Ilves fan, but i got to say i lofe Djurgården as a club, your away section in Tampere/Tammerfors was incredible
Lycka till
As a Fiorentina fan, you're right man! I just LOVE THE EUROPA CONFERENCE LEAGUE!! CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF IT!! THANKS FOR REMINDING ME!!!
I feel bad for you losing to a weak ass greek team
Lol dude yall are top dogs in the league it's a shame that yall still haven't won yet but also as an olympiacos fan I hope we can fight eachother if yall win this season!
@@JohanCruyff-wj4pf i feel bad for you losing to a weak A$$ greek team.. you definitely deserved the cup
Weak ass eh. I'll have you know we have more championships than all the other Greek teams combined. We have reached quarter finals in CL and had many top level players in the match against fiorentina@@poyrazunlu
🇦🇱 As someone from Albania I really loved the match of Partizani. Weirdly enough my local team, KF Skënderbeu which played 2 times in Europa League group stage in the last decade, is a rival of Partizani and both the players and supporters fight every time this match is played.😂
He fixed Sneijders shirt a few videos back. Im proud
shits been bugging me since forever
Victoria plizen reaching the semi final of a european competition was true beuty. Conference league football is amazing and no one can convince me otherwise
Quarter finals*
Quarter. They lost to giant like Fiorentina but before met them they concede like 2 goals and one of the teams they faced was also one of the established giant Dinamo Zagreb the Croatian powerhouses regular UCL participant.
There is no way a youtuber is actually mentioning albanian clubs on his videos. My guy you are a living legend
Many were not happy with conference league idea. But believe me Europa & Conference league are really entertaining competition to watch. You will see fans at of their voice supporting fans. So many stories too.
Great vid! I was an away fan in that Austria - Ilves game and it was probs the craziest game I have ever witnessed live 😂 I felt my heart coming through my chest
Qualificatioms are way more bigger for some people than the group stage tbf. I enjoy them the most for the awesome teams from every country and also for the massive betting chances on them , as this are the most profitable months in the year for me
The CL qualification so had crazy matches though, for example Rasgrad - Karabakh 2-7 a.e.t. It was 2-1 after full time (Karabakh won the 1st leg 3-2).
Before that Lincoln red imps defeat Spartans on penalties. or Ajax vs Panathinaikos
That's weird for a continental tournament
greatly timed video with Śląsk Wrocław match
Not mentioning FC Noah’s incredible run is a crime
except for the win against AEK there's nothing that surprising.
@@blank1506bro the chances were 9-1 in aeks favour. And the goali scoreeed
I know, but the video was uploaded on Tuesday.
As a supporter of Ilves, I am really hoping that we can beat Swedish Djurgården on next round.
Good luck from an Austria Wien supporter
And it was really amazing to be able to feel the emotion of success at out new stadium after few challenging years.
true those conference games can have so many surprises
Fun fact: A team called Ħamrun Spartans is a semi pro team who could qualify for the fucking conference league.
Screw Hamrun... Still hurts after they cheated against Levski and eliminated us from UECL :(
As someone from Serbia this is just normal for me,its just that this is for entertaining football teams to get exposure
Which team do you support?

Remember Backla Topla a few season ago? Great times!
Cyprus football podcast here. We have 1 team guaranteed in the conference league & maybe 2 to come as they’re in the playoffs
Almost every match in qualification is a history made for those nations. Imagine competing, waiting the whole season just to pass 1 or 2 legs in European qualifications. Great content!
Who is here after Wroclaw - St Gallen ?
4:43 bro ☠️ that stupid energy drink club
As a hungarian I watch this every year to see if anyone other then Ferencvaros can qualify for the conference league.
U should make a video about the incredible European Journey of RFS Riga in Europe this year!
FC St.Gallen vs. Wroclaw was also pretty crazy. 26 Minutes of extra time, 3 Red Cards and so many VAR interventions.
Check out the 2nd legs of Śląsk Wrocław vs St Gallen and Wisła Kraków (mid-table team on second tier of Polish football that won the domestic cup!) vs Spartak Trnava.
I remember how my team, Viktoria Plzeň, reached the quarter finals in the UECL last season. I was there when we won on penalties after two 0-0 draws.
I totally agree! (and am definitely not a chelsea fan)
Check out Lincoln Red Imps highlights, their stadium view is unbelieveabale
We play you today
Personally I think Conference League should just be for countries that wouldn't have their representative in UCL nor UEL. Like do we really need clubs from top 5 in there?
Top 5 league teams in my opinion made the confernce league more better
Olympiacos beat Aston villa 6 - 2, even big teams can get upsets like that
theres a thing about low tier football just makes me love it
"with just a chance to be playing chelse..." I'm dead
I cant believe that you speak about my club Rapid Wien, I actually live 3 mins from the Rapid Wien Stadium.
Dont forget that Aston Villa held 1:1against Zrinjski in Mostar and they held ball in their half and didnt want to attack
Conference league is what my local club will be playing this szn that is if they dont qualify for even higher ( the europa league ), honestly i am very excited to see what will it bring to the club
could have also mentioned the tie in the europa league between paksi fc (2nd place in the hungarian championship and cup winners) and 2nd division romanian side Corvinul Hunedoara where the 2nd division lads won their first european game in over 40 years and only 2nd ever
My club hajduk split lost 1 0 to some slovakian club ruzomberok but the game had so good atmosphere i was there and it was definetly in my top 3 hajduk atmospheres that i have been to. This has been happening to us for almost ten years straight we would lose in the last match and we havent been to the group stage in such a long time but everyone still loves the club. i really appreciate this tournament
there was 30000 people on the game too
NO BORING PEP , NO RULES , PURE BALL 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Football fans with depth follow the Conference League.
Noah-AEK........
the biggest underdog in UECL is Noah from Armenia do not forget them
I'm a fan of a Bosnian club FK Velež. Yes that is a real club and yes we actualy have a stadium, fanbase etc... But the reason I'm saying this is that recently we faced off against Andoran club Inter Descaldes in the Confrence league qualifying and we got fucking hammered 5-1. 5-1. I know you're an Arsenal fan and that you have seen that scoreline before but imagine reciving it against and Androan club
ok ngl thats kinda embarassing
Velez is massive. No one in Greece has forgotten that legendary tie you had against AEK (Although admittedly AEK fans are trying to forget)
As a Fiorentina fan, it would be cool to lose the third consecutive final against Chelsea ngl
(The suffering is unbearable and i want to end this, even if i love the Conference League)
@@nicolocetto What's happening in Florence to make you suffer? Or is it just that you've been in the final twice and lost both times?
@@dominicbarden4436 terrible luck in finals lmao, we're the only club in Italy to have taken part in every European Cup final and the only one capable of losing in every one of them at least once

I am an olympiacos fan,And i was screaming when we won,it was deserved❤
The conference league is just great for making stories. I mean look at what Klaksvik did last year. So many debutants making it to the group stage.
My team is in the Conference League qualifiers and the streaming subsciption has the Conference league but doesn't show the qualifiers
Why does UEFA not sell the licence in one bundle

3:46 c’mon Pyunik we’re almost there
SuperSport Hrvatska nogometna liga is such a underrated league tbh
Remember when Lincoln Reds made it to the conference league
I always laugh at the face of UCL top dogs fans because they are all about "it's the best competition" and I mean, they're not wrong that it's the "best" but it's not a "competition" if you can guess who's going to become the champion on the first round of the group stage.
Lol it's probably way more difficult to predict the winner of the Champions League than of the Conference League. Chelsea is going to win the Conference League.
@@Alex-ds6swwe thought Aston Villa, who were significantly better than this chelsea side this season, were gonna win it last year. So who knows
bc of the Conference League clubs from Luxembourg (home country) can actually play in Europe, and I love that
I didn't watch any matches, but I do follow the results etc. - and in the play-offs... of course we do have Chelsea, Betis Sevilla and Heidenheim in there, but Armenian side FC Noah for example won 3:0 in the first leg against Slovakian Ruzomberok. Also, there are sides involved from Wales, Lithuania, Azerbaijan,...
hopefully my team will lose back to back the ucl and europa qualifiers to play in the conference league its the only place we stand a chance😭

As a Chelsea fan I still hope we lose the playoff
Not having the fixture congestion would be a MASSIVE boost to our top four hopes
We saw what happened to Villa at the end of last season who only got top four because Spurs had relegation form to end the year
West Ham falling apart as well the year before
Spurs getting top four after being eliminated from the Conference League because they got covid

Man i fucking love the Conference League. Give me a cold Thursday night in Astana over the same Real-Man City in the UCL.
its just like euro 24 group stages they had proper close games
Too bad we cant watch them in the U.S. until the League Stage. Unless you pirate stream them.
As for it in the previous format it was dope last season but othee then the Legia fans(and more perhaps)being wronguns there's one big issue that being the referring standard like they were shocking I thought the refereeing in the Premier League was bad but this is next level that's certainly something they need to fix if they really want to make the Conference League (they're dropping the Europa part) into a big competition.
wait i just realised you have eremenkos finland national shirt in the background! finland mentioned
