The one you ate at 3:37 was en empolvado, it’s a typical Chilean pastery. Glad you are enjoying my country! The people in the south are way cooler that the ones who live in Santiago, you can get a lot of better interactions. You could also go hiking to a national park some day, you will certainly enjoy it. Have a great time!!
Also, in Chile is illegal to drive and use an electronic device like a phone or a camera at the same time. No one will persecute your legally for uploading your videos, but you could get in some trouble and get a ticket if a police or carabinero catches you filming while driving, so put your camera down when passing near carabineros
I highly recommend going to the Carretera Austral first, and passing into Argentina through the Jeinimeni Pass in Chile Chico. The landscape you have on the Carretera Austral is something that cannot be described and on those sides it is full of places to do wildcamping. Best of luck on your journey!
So cool to see you living the “easy” life 🤗 Glad things are going good and you are really enjoying your trip, what a big contrast to all the stress at the border crossings. Can’t wait for your next update, enjoy your trip and thank you for taking us along 🤗🤗
As a country boy i highly recommend learning how to use a wheel winch! Take your strap and wrap it around your wheel and drive on it to pull yourself out! Its way less work than manual winiching
I really enjoy your channel. Praying for both you and Patti's safety every day. Please give some thought to adding Season and Episode to each of your videos. It will help everyone to follow along, in proper sequence. Sometimes I am not sure if I am missing one or not. It is a lot of energy, time and work to do what you do. Big fan from Iowa, USA. All the Best!!!
Loving how your Tuk Tuk is evolving into the most awesome camping and traveling Tuk Tuk around! Great choice on buying a new leash that was always my worry with my dog also, is the leash breaking. One thing I noticed though on the new gear, I don’t believe the winch set up you got is the right winch, that’s just a ratchet strap for strapping stuff down tight. What you should look at getting is called a “come along winch” those are perfect for moving small stuff with ease, it’s a leverage thing with the handle. Keep up the awesome work man! Love being a part of your guys journey, it’s the highlight of my week 😊
@@aussieespanol yeah if you get a chance before you leave the big city do a online search for places there in the city that sell metal zip ties. I had a loose heat shield on my car exhaust and bought some to hold it in place. Good luck bro.
@aussieespanol that's not terrible at least y'all have a safe little spot to hang out for a night! I truly do appreciate you sharing this journey. Much love from Seattle Washington!!
@@aussieespanol as it happened to you in Argentina, you can find great people willing to help you on your way or showed you more of the country and their culture. 😉good luck!

Just load up your Claro Arg account

Legend, you ever have anything stolen from the tuk?
So far no. Patti does a good job at protecting it all

You don’t interact much with the locals… would you be interested in that or just drive?
Sometimes it’s more difficult. It’s not by choice as in I’m not opposed to it, it’s just not the easiest and sometimes.

I can't be biased, I just document the happenings ahaha you're trying to get me in trouble with the Chileans@@caly7472
that's the only way to eat an "empolvado" you are going to get dirty no matter what you do lol.
