A very good solidarity conference on Kashmir took place in Birmingham

Dear All A very good solidarity conference on Kashmir took place yesterday in Washwood Heath with a series of speakers. The ending of the relative autonomy of Kashmir within the Indian state recently has been followed by brutal repression and a program of Hindu settlement mirroring the Zionist settlements in the West Bank. Ayoub Khan MP, MP for Perry Barr, was a major speaker, see video above. I was able to speak (not as a rep from StWC as a poster incorrectly implied) comparing the situation of Palestinians and Kashmiris, see video above. I was also able to promote the two next national Palestine on the 7th September and especially the Liverpool Labour Party Palestine demo 21st September. Stuart
