If they ask for space, give it to them. To me when they ask for space, it means they aren’t fully committed to you, and have their other intentions elsewhere. It’s either you’re with me, or not with me, nothing in between.
Giving space always work with men. With women it’s a hit or miss. I know because I’m a woman and I’ve always learned to live without a man when we don’t talk because I don’t long for them anymore. Women are wired a bit differently. We look back most the time on past relationships and see how unfairly or bad we were treated whereas men look back and remember all the things they took for granted.
Not always true. If the man was generally a good man and she shares beautiful memories with him, they will miss him like any other relationship. Sge said it herself were had a good boyfriend. Me and my girlfriend broke up because we bickered. It wasn't even anything serious but the bickering was the last straw at the time for her so shevcalled it off on whatsapl. I even offered her my kidney at one time (since she requires a transplant) luckily shes getting one from her brother since my bloodtype was incompatible. If anyone is being taken for granted it was me. There was no toxicity in the relationship just silly bickering and she still broke up. She has to miss the me. The relationship and what we had has has to be important to her. It was 2 years and 3 months together. Women aren't robots. They forme bonds, attachments, and longing just like men do. @@-1nterruption-960 yeah I agree to a certain extent. I think it’s just important to remember that women think very differently, we really do tend to look back more negatively on relationships. Even if it’s not entirely true, even if the man was a good caring person to us. We still reflect on the negatives more than the positives. And We do it because We know that looking back on all the “good” doesn’t help us move on. It hurts more.
@@emmalynrae592 even still there wasn't anything severe that occurred in the breakup. Just silly habitual bickering. She loved me so much and was very attached. I mean so attached shed say at times she wanted us to just combine into one. Such small things like that shouldn't outweigh all the good stuff. @@emmalynrae592 she told me herself that the reasons she broke up with me are because of the bickering which led to arguing, and feeling as though she was being blamed for everything and as if I acted as though she was the only one with the issues. I had issues too but I will admit I'm guilty of not acknowledging this as much. She was very attached to me and me to her but unfortunately she couldn't take the arguments any longer. She got exhausted of it and I regret that. I and people that know her also think that the stress from her upcoming kidney transplant made the bickering fuel to the fire. It was a big recipe for disaster that I just didn't catch before the breakup. You have your opinion but I do strongly believe that a woman can miss a man for all the good qualities he has. I know she misses alot of those things about me. There was no abuse, no cheating, nothing of that sort. Just issues we had to work out. Believe me she laid out in a voice-mail those exact reasons I described. She even said in fact that I was a good boyfriend and she was a good girlfriend and that we had a good relationship. You cannot tell me that a person won't at some point miss the good things. She experienced so many things she never did before with me and loved me for it. Unfortunately I screwed it up with how I handled our conversations. This can be fixed. Your view is negative and I've spoken to other woman who do have the belief that it's possible to miss someone even if you broke up with them. You dont know the intricacies and dynamics of the relationship me and her shared. Theres so many variables and sometimes people do make mistakes in breaking up with someone. They can come to the realization that things were pretty good and mistakes that were made can be resolved especially if the bond was strong enough at one point. How else do couples get back together? What you're pretty much saying is that there's little hope of getting someone that considered me the love of her life to come back and that what all these coaches on here are saying is complete bullshit in other words. Im on Day 124 of no contact. Staying strong. Ive got to admit something though; NC works as i genuinly feel like im on the right path with life, but im not happy about it, not yet at least. 26th day of no contact and my x called to check up on me 😄. He said he was wondering why I've been so silent lol. No contact is definitely hard but it works I did not think he would call but he did. Whenever I feel sad during no contact I watch your videos and they give me strength to go on with no contact. I feel I got this! And that's how I've managed to do no contact. He did not ask to meet me or anything I kept It short and sweet so I'm starting another no contact until they decide what they want to do 🤣 as for me im healing very well and I'm not waiting for them. Hey it’s ok. Just let it go. We all learn what’s best for us one way or another. Of course they are going to seem happy. I’ve had my ex’s mother say he seemed happy while I was shocked dealing with PTSD from what happened in our relationship. It doesn’t mean they are actually happy though. We all think and remember. But of course eventually we all move on too. I unblocked him on FB the other day and saw he restored his FB and had profile photos with his new gf. He cheat on me with female and male prostitutes. I just look at her and think, she doesn’t truly know him. That’s what I see in him. I never knew him. And I deserve better. We all deserve better.

It's all so different. I dumped a girl, came back multiple times, dumped another girl, came back twice. I was dumped and begged and pleaded and cried, she reached out multiple times (though we didnt get back together). another girl dumped me and I chased chased chased, that didnt work. Another girl who I thought was the love of my life left me for another and I never heard from her again. I was dumped recently by an anxious and I'm not sure wether or not she will reach out. She can't stand being alone, so if she's not talking to someone new already, she will be soon. I'm not holding out hope, though I feel like I did do some things right. Look, all you can do is work on yourself and get to a point where you're indifferent to them coming back. Let them go. If they loved you enough, they will reconsider. Blow them away. If they never reach out, then just accept that some people are just not meant to be, no matter how strong your bond was. Be the best version of you for you. Things will fall into place as they are supposed to if you truly love and accept yourself.

It’s been 68 days since the breakup and I still just have to think that my ex girlfriend just needs space, even though she told me that we’re done (at the time of the breakup). We hade a great 5 and a half year relationship together and I have to have faith that she’ll be back.

I have the workbooks. Which are great! I just wish I could afford the coaching. My ex lost romantic feelings for me and told me to move on. (We broke up 2 years ago and he wants just friends.) So I know changes won't affect him or change his mind, but I'm still doing the workbooks.

The breakup in case of a monkey brancher happened for the one who switched for another relatiopship once they decided they want that other relationship, that was when they started to mentally and emotionally detach from you. Try watching more of Craig's videos, its there somewhere. If you want a more tangible proof of progress in "working on yourself", i recommend the knowledge worlkbooks. I just finished workbook 1 and i feel accomplished. Try it.
The energy you would normally pour into a partner, financially, emotionally, acts of service, etc. Do that for yourself. Spend time on your hobbies, spend time with family, friends, throw yourself into work, and if you’re the type, go do your exercise. Take yourself on dates, go see the museums or go hiking by yourself or with friends.
Can you say it is self destructive if people chose not to grief their “finished relationship” and move on to a next source for Love and Limerence within a rebound?
Yes it’s extremely self destructive. Because they become a ticking time bomb...and when they explode, their new “rebound” person is gonna be the one who gets hurt next. Then that person looks back and is finds themselves at stage 1 of the breakup process because they were too busy distracting themselves from the breakup to grieve and move on in a healthy way. They hurt themselves and they hurt the new person they convinced to be with them right after a breakup.
@@emmalynrae592 So true, You can suppress, and delay processing emotions, but you cannot skip them. Unless you are a complete sociopath, those emotions will bubble up and explode as soon as the limerence period starts to fade and they have their first arguments on the rebound relationship.

Thank you for this video I’ve been struggling a lot with this. My boyfriend told me he needed space because he has depression. I tried to text him 2 weeks after the break up but he said he wasn’t ready. I’ve been watching a lot of video about depression and break up. The relationship was great and what’s making this harder is that he is a good guy and treated me well. He posted some stories and it made me angry. He posted more since the break up than during the 6 months we were dating. I’ve blocked him from my story and stopped stalking cuz it was hurting me too much. It made me second guess what he said. I cant stop thinking he will find someone else. He told me to not wait but I was so emotional that I told him I wanted to wait for him. He told me he was open to talk to me again when he will be ready. But Im not sure if this is going to happen and the hope is killing me. I have a great circle of friends and family, ambitions, project and everything but it is so hard to tell myself that I will be okay without him. I stalked my ex on social media too to see what they were doing, but ultimately it just makes you feel worse and keeps you obsessing over them and what they are doing, etc. you can get into a bad cycle of it.

My biggest fear for not walking away (which i want to do all the time because i actually value me more then before) is that he will just go to a new woman. My situation is a little different. We had a rough month. My insecurities had flared up all the way due to something I found that made me heavily uncomfortable. We've communicated and apologized to each other. There was something that happened in her life recently that caused her some trauma and emotional pain(not due to me). But she told me she wanted more emotional intimacy and she had been closed off but she started to open up and not reject me anymore. But she stated that she doesn't look at me with the same fervor anymore. I'm feeling that it's because of the excessive and overwhelming amount of emotions that we had both gone through thus passed month. She said she wants to miss me, and we had a conversation today, she said she wants space-no contact, for at least a week. For her to process her own emotions and deal with things she could work on. I said I'd honor her request for space and no contact. Even though I am uncomfortable and anxious about it. I don't know what to do at this point. My emotions and everything I've said to her about how I feel has been genuine. I'll take this space to just pour into myself. I told her the door is open and she can choose to walk through or not. I also asked her that during this space, if she finds someone else a better fit, or that she doesn't want to be here anymore, to kindly pay me that respect and closure because I would do the same. I have hope. And even if this doesn't work out. My heart is still open to love. I have informed her as well, that because it wasn't explicitly stated that she isn't leaving, I'll remain exclusive to her until informed otherwise. Giving space always work with men. With women it’s a hit or miss. I know because I’m a woman and I’ve always learned to live without a man when we don’t talk because I don’t long for them anymore. Women are wired a bit differently. We look back most the time on past relationships and see how unfairly or bad we were treated whereas men look back and remember all the things they took for granted.

Me and my girlfriend broke up because we bickered. It wasn't even anything serious but the bickering was the last straw at the time for her so shevcalled it off on whatsapl. I even offered her my kidney at one time (since she requires a transplant) luckily shes getting one from her brother since my bloodtype was incompatible. If anyone is being taken for granted it was me. There was no toxicity in the relationship just silly bickering and she still broke up. She has to miss the me. The relationship and what we had has has to be important to her. It was 2 years and 3 months together. Women aren't robots. They forme bonds, attachments, and longing just like men do. @@-1nterruption-960 yeah I agree to a certain extent. I think it’s just important to remember that women think very differently, we really do tend to look back more negatively on relationships. Even if it’s not entirely true, even if the man was a good caring person to us. We still reflect on the negatives more than the positives. And We do it because We know that looking back on all the “good” doesn’t help us move on. It hurts more.
@@emmalynrae592 even still there wasn't anything severe that occurred in the breakup. Just silly habitual bickering. She loved me so much and was very attached. I mean so attached shed say at times she wanted us to just combine into one. Such small things like that shouldn't outweigh all the good stuff. @@emmalynrae592 she told me herself that the reasons she broke up with me are because of the bickering which led to arguing, and feeling as though she was being blamed for everything and as if I acted as though she was the only one with the issues. I had issues too but I will admit I'm guilty of not acknowledging this as much. She was very attached to me and me to her but unfortunately she couldn't take the arguments any longer. She got exhausted of it and I regret that. I and people that know her also think that the stress from her upcoming kidney transplant made the bickering fuel to the fire. It was a big recipe for disaster that I just didn't catch before the breakup. You have your opinion but I do strongly believe that a woman can miss a man for all the good qualities he has. I know she misses alot of those things about me. There was no abuse, no cheating, nothing of that sort. Just issues we had to work out. Believe me she laid out in a voice-mail those exact reasons I described. She even said in fact that I was a good boyfriend and she was a good girlfriend and that we had a good relationship. You cannot tell me that a person won't at some point miss the good things. She experienced so many things she never did before with me and loved me for it. Unfortunately I screwed it up with how I handled our conversations. This can be fixed. Your view is negative and I've spoken to other woman who do have the belief that it's possible to miss someone even if you broke up with them. You dont know the intricacies and dynamics of the relationship me and her shared. Theres so many variables and sometimes people do make mistakes in breaking up with someone. They can come to the realization that things were pretty good and mistakes that were made can be resolved especially if the bond was strong enough at one point. How else do couples get back together? What you're pretty much saying is that there's little hope of getting someone that considered me the love of her life to come back and that what all these coaches on here are saying is complete bullshit in other words. Sorry but you're wrong. If you don't think it's possible why are you even on here? To say good luck pal, she doesnt miss you and is not coming back? Every relationship and breakup and the couple and their own personalities involved are unique and different. There's no one universal truth for everyone. Im on Day 124 of no contact. Staying strong. Ive got to admit something though; NC works as i genuinly feel like im on the right path with life, but im not happy about it, not yet at least. I think the true strength of NC is pushing forward even when it doesnt feel best or positive. No matter how difficult, how much you cry or want to, know NC IS working. 26th day of no contact and my x called to check up on me 😄. He said he was wondering why I've been so silent lol. No contact is definitely hard but it works I did not think he would call but he did. Whenever I feel sad during no contact I watch your videos and they give me strength to go on with no contact. I feel I got this! And that's how I've managed to do no contact. He did not ask to meet me or anything I kept It short and sweet so I'm starting another no contact until they decide what they want to do 🤣 as for me im healing very well and I'm not waiting for them. It’s been 9 months of NC and I feel hopeless. Sometimes I do feel like she will reach out but with how well she’s doing on her own and spending time with her friends, it feels like she just forgot about me.
Maybe you havent cried or grieved yet. Thats why you're still holding on her coming back. its better to process the emotions so you can truly move on without the distractions of dating attractive girls when you're still attached to your ex.

I made a mistake texting my ex's sister today to know if my ex was happy with the new person she's living, and when she told me that they looked happy together I felt devastated...I felt a huge anxiety attack, and that my hope of her coming back to me just vanished completely. Hey it’s ok. Just let it go. We all learn what’s best for us one way or another. Of course they are going to seem happy. I’ve had my ex’s mother say he seemed happy while I was shocked dealing with PTSD from what happened in our relationship. It doesn’t mean they are actually happy though. We all think and remember. But of course eventually we all move on too. I unblocked him on FB the other day and saw he restored his FB and had profile photos with his new gf. He cheat on me with female and male prostitutes. I just look at her and think, she doesn’t truly know him. That’s what I see in him. I never knew him. And I deserve better. We all deserve better.

It's all so different. I dumped a girl, came back multiple times, dumped another girl, came back twice. I was dumped and begged and pleaded and cried, she reached out multiple times (though we didnt get back together). another girl dumped me and I chased chased chased, that didnt work. Another girl who I thought was the love of my life left me for another and I never heard from her again. I was dumped recently by an anxious and I'm not sure wether or not she will reach out. She can't stand being alone, so if she's not talking to someone new already, she will be soon. I'm not holding out hope, though I feel like I did do some things right.
Look, all you can do is work on yourself and get to a point where you're indifferent to them coming back. Let them go. If they loved you enough, they will reconsider. Blow them away. If they never reach out, then just accept that some people are just not meant to be, no matter how strong your bond was. Be the best version of you for you. Things will fall into place as they are supposed to if you truly love and accept yourself.

The breakup in case of a monkey brancher happened for the one who switched for another relatiopship once they decided they want that other relationship, that was when they started to mentally and emotionally detach from you. It doesn't even matter who did the breaking upping, the monkey brancher is actually the dumper.
They grieve the relationship the moment it starts. Thats what the relationship is. Its her not being able to let go.
But more seriously, often times they emotionally break up before the actual break up.

Try watching more of Craig's videos, its there somewhere. If you want a more tangible proof of progress in "working on yourself", i recommend the knowledge worlkbooks. I just finished workbook 1 and i feel accomplished. Try it.
The energy you would normally pour into a partner, financially, emotionally, acts of service, etc. Do that for yourself. Spend time on your hobbies, spend time with family, friends, throw yourself into work, and if you’re the type, go do your exercise. Take yourself on dates, go see the museums or go hiking by yourself or with friends.

Yes it’s extremely self destructive. Because they become a ticking time bomb...and when they explode, their new “rebound” person is gonna be the one who gets hurt next. Then that person looks back and is finds themselves at stage 1 of the breakup process because they were too busy distracting themselves from the breakup to grieve and move on in a healthy way. They hurt themselves and they hurt the new person they convinced to be with them right after a breakup.
@@emmalynrae592 So true, You can suppress, and delay processing emotions, but you cannot skip them. Unless you are a complete sociopath, those emotions will bubble up and explode as soon as the limerence period starts to fade and they have their first arguments on the rebound relationship.

I was on day 14 when i heard my ex lost her grand dad, I had to call her .. couldn't be ignorant about that. But i think it broke off my 14 days NC period. Well I have started my no contact again after wishing her good luck 🤞

Thank you for this video I’ve been struggling a lot with this. My boyfriend told me he needed space because he has depression. I tried to text him 2 weeks after the break up but he said he wasn’t ready. I’ve been watching a lot of video about depression and break up. The relationship was great and what’s making this harder is that he is a good guy and treated me well. He posted some stories and it made me angry. He posted more since the break up than during the 6 months we were dating. I’ve blocked him from my story and stopped stalking cuz it was hurting me too much. It made me second guess what he said. I cant stop thinking he will find someone else. He told me to not wait but I was so emotional that I told him I wanted to wait for him. He told me he was open to talk to me again when he will be ready. But Im not sure if this is going to happen and the hope is killing me. I have a great circle of friends and family, ambitions, project and everything but it is so hard to tell myself that I will be okay without him. Im in a point in life where im ready to invest in a relationship and I wanted to be with him. Some days im thinking a 100% he will come back and then I overthink and think he never liked me. I’m gonna continue watching your videos and hopefully time will help me to stop thinking about him.

I stalked my ex on social media too to see what they were doing, but ultimately it just makes you feel worse and keeps you obsessing over them and what they are doing, etc. you can get into a bad cycle of it.

back watching these videos again, a year after my 6 year relationship I decided to hop back in the dating scene thinking I was ready (clearly I wasn't) and now I'm heartbroken again. I let my anxious attachment style completely ruin this relationship and despite it being much less than 6 years like my previous relationship it still hurts all the same. I really think we would've lasted a long time if I didn't push him away.

My situation is a little different. We had a rough month. My insecurities had flared up all the way due to something I found that made me heavily uncomfortable. We've communicated and apologized to each other. There was something that happened in her life recently that caused her some trauma and emotional pain(not due to me). But she told me she wanted more emotional intimacy and she had been closed off but she started to open up and not reject me anymore. But she stated that she doesn't look at me with the same fervor anymore. I'm feeling that it's because of the excessive and overwhelming amount of emotions that we had both gone through thus passed month. She said she wants to miss me, and we had a conversation today, she said she wants space-no contact, for at least a week. For her to process her own emotions and deal with things she could work on. I said I'd honor her request for space and no contact. Even though I am uncomfortable and anxious about it. I don't know what to do at this point. My emotions and everything I've said to her about how I feel has been genuine. I'll take this space to just pour into myself. I told her the door is open and she can choose to walk through or not. I also asked her that during this space, if she finds someone else a better fit, or that she doesn't want to be here anymore, to kindly pay me that respect and closure because I would do the same. I have hope. And even if this doesn't work out. My heart is still open to love. I have informed her as well, that because it wasn't explicitly stated that she isn't leaving, I'll remain exclusive to her until informed otherwise. I've done my best to always communicate and show up whenever I can. Good luck with love y'all. We all deserve it.

I don’t think, no matter what you said the result still the same. She broke up with you, as much as it sucks and hurts you gotta give them space.
