Same with me. GP and Uroligist, i had bladder teats done at the end of the day they diagnosted me with over active bladder. I know i have the early equada syndrome. I have trouble starting pee for years now. I have to strain to get all the pee out, i had my prostate ckecked all good. I have a numb right foot ball, lower back tigh side pain. I have 4 herniated lower discs. I have occasional saddle pains
Mmri flagged cauda aquina my doctor sent me to emergency room in Cork University Hospital. Had some tests there the specialist looked at my mri. The specialists under study told me that I am not an emergency to go home. I was told I would only be an emergency if I loose control of my bladder or bowl or if my leg becomes paralysed and I can't move it. Yet everything I see tells me that might be too late.
I was told the same thing by my neurologist. He set up an appointment for me with a neurosurgeon but said it would only require surgery if I become incontinent or unable to walk. I was wondering at that point wouldn't it be a not late? I'd never heard of bilateral sciatica or this syndrome but for years I've had these symptoms. This past week I picked up a water cooler jug and have had terrible back and groin issues along with leg numbness all over the place. When I read your message I thought I've been there too.
