Yes, a complete love story. The love Tuff shows Lane, albeit in a sarcastic, indifferent way. Obviously, between a man and woman, with Lane and Kelly’s love for one another. The love of a father and his son. They show the love that Kelly’s mom had for her. Love on many, many levels, shown throughout the movie, in various ways. A very good movie.
I had the pleasure of meeting Luke the day of this premiere. I was stationed nearby doing my A.I.T. and he took the time to talk to all of the military personnel who was there. Super great guy, so much like Lane in alot of regards. I also met Mrs.Elsie and Mr.Clyde Frost, I still have the memorial cowboy Bible they signed and gave me. #RIPLANE #RIPLUKE #8SECS

A man that had such a big personality could stay grounded never let the fame get to his head. The real life Tuff said the movie 8 seconds would of been a disaster without Luke Perry in an interview a few years back. "He's riding for lane" still gets me choked up seeing it a 100 times. And the western genre is dead? Yellowstone is one of the biggest shows on TV right now. The western or old west is more of a fantasy today with the population and cities and so on, so fantasy and people will always be intrigued with fantasy.
8 seconds was an amazing movie. Luke did a great job portraying Lane. They both had similiar lives. Both farm boys, kind men, and charming. They both would have been good friends in real life if they had crossed paths before their successes. No doubt.

I haven't watched this movie for a long time. Ever since I found out how much of it was fake. Lane frosts life had enough interesting things. They didn't have to make stuff up like Kelly and him cheating on each other that was total horse shit.
