I'm quite positive every single fan of Supernatural is more then familiar with the concept.
And despite the ever looming threat of random zombie attacks, armor is used very little in the show.
Exactly! Did you ever notice that the walkers always bite the neck or forearm? Eugene should have been on top of that. The science guy from the governor's camp surely thought of it
Chain mail would be quite helpful. They even make that stuff for people who dive with sharks. I'm pretty sure it could handle a zombie bite.
They did use armor some when they got to the prison

I stopped watching at the end of Season 8, when they killed Carl. I was done. They killed off my favorite male character in Fear the Walking Dead at that same time. So, I stopped watching there, too (in its Season 4).

fr, they kill off most of his grunts in cold blood, but the guy who killed important characters and pulled some ntr BS gets to live? tf, even in season 10 when he seems somewhat likeable i still want the mans dead for having killed glenn.
Actually i read somewhere the reason they didnt kill him off was because his story was not told yet, so they keep him around for another 2 godamn season and his story is finaly told in an EXTRA that not many ppl cared to watch since it was mostly extra time gap fillers

They also forgot that if you cut of the arms and jaw of a walker, they become docile and you can walk them along a chain and other walkers will ignore you. Way easier and less messy compared to covering yourself in walker guts.

The first couple years of this show were magic.
It was the first t.v show i ever really loved...
then mid season 3 I was like...
They're really just gonna get comfy somewhere, just to not be comfy and have to go somewhere else, aye?

You didn't mention how EACH EPISODE has this formula:
first 5 minutes are interesting, then everything is boring, then end with a cliffhanger that makes you want to watch what happens in the next episode
... and apparently, it worked.

To be fair, they're not trained to use a gun, so the noise damages their ears.
@@jacobc9221 only sometimes though. Because of a character is going to pop up next to a friendly group they’re going to make the tiniest noise and everybody is going to snap up and point their weapons at them. Then they put them down and hug

I love how Ryan never makes plot hole mistakes in his vids when referencing things from the film that haven't happened yet. Like Grimes' pronunciation of "Coral"
I would've kept watching, but time skipping six years and replacing Rick with a 10 year old girl made stopping super easy, barely an inconvenience.
Wait what? This happened? 6 years wow glad I quit when Carl died.
I stopped watching after the first season with the bat guy. It just got so repetitive and the drama and story no longer made up for the extreme gruesomeness. But I can't imagine how anyone could keep watching without Rick. I mean because so much of the show is so bound to him. Well, maybe for new watchers who don't start from the beginning it wouldn't be so bad. I don't know.
I stopped watching in the season with the weird garbage people who forgot how to speak in full sentences. I was already losing interest after Glenn, though. It went from being the show I couldn't miss, to the show I never wanted to watch again.
Well, that season was the best the show has had since the prison days IMO, I respect your opinion but I also judge you for it.
I stopped when Negan started smashing heads... Didn't even finish the episode...

The show died as soon as Carl showed the bite mark. They literally killed off the future the main protagonist was fighting for.

I admit, for the last couple of seasons I have been 'hate watching' the show; not all episodes, but certainly the Mid and Season finale ones.
I personally think they should wrap the show up at season 10, and let it end with a somewhat-bang instead of a whimper (or zombie gasp, as it were ^_^)
that "nothing to look forward to" was what pushed me away from this show

Hey Ryan thanks for great work. In return I would like to give you an idea (I'm sure you've heard it) "Ditch Meeting". Close to your already established premise but involving the premature cancelling of a beloved show...say Firefly, original Star Trek or Futurama 10 times. Enjoy!
Futurama wasnt cancelled it had 8 seasons I think. Firefly was wrapped up pretty good with the movie Serenity

Sunk cost fallacy perfectly sums up why I still watched this show despite the declining quality over the last few seasons before finally calling it quits when Lincoln left the show.
I only watched through season 3. Sensing the repetitiveness and where the story was going, I didn’t want to invest anymore time into the show. It needed to be like a breaking bad. Breaking Bad did a great job, and they even were able to continue telling the story through someone else in the show, and even a film to wrap it all up. Walking Dead could’ve done the same thing.
Brilliantly written, as usual! Fantastic work. Please do Passengers soon! The plot really doesn't make sense.
I'm immune to "the sunk cost fallacy" ... I gave up on this show in season 6. I realized a better strategy is to just watch people rant about how bad it is on youtube so I still know what's going on and I'm still entertained.

Suncost effect is the reason i still watch "Scorpion" and "Legion". I still watch it but pray they end the show.
i could at least say that "Legion" has an aesthetic and a style of narration pretty unique among all the marvel series, and i'm glad it exists ^^

I never made it past season 1. I was waiting fir something to happen and then I got sick of waiting so I watched 28 days later again.

I am very proud of the fact that I have not seen a single one episode of this. Whenever I caught a glimpse (between commercial breaks on other channels) they were just talking. Just like Lost. Not seen anything from that one too and I feel like I lost nothing.

I love these videos, especially when they hit on exactly what I did in a show. I started binge watching the first season of The Walking Dead while home sick and after seven or eight episodes the gaping plot holes made me call it quits. And the biggest one was them being able to walk freely among zombies after smearing zombie guts all over themselves but only using it one time then seemingly forgetting about it. I didn't want to be a victim of "Sunk cost fallacy" and be subjected to more of that nonsense so I bailed.
That wasn't the only time they used the walker guts trick.
