Fountain pens have a steep dropoff in writing quality once you get to gold nibs. The smoothest one I can justify spending money on and currently still own one is the lamy 2000, anything more and you are really just paying for superior materials and craftsmanship

Some of the sub $10, cheap pens do pretty well but there’s no comparison in hand. Quality feels like quality. Like they say, once youve owned a Rolex, you can recognize a fake one. I’ve been debating on selling off all my cheap stuff and focus on chasing grails.

Tbh I love fountain pens and collecting them ,but since the ballpoint pens - ( your everyday normal pen)- came in fountain pens turned into a more luxurious vintage thing . Like old cars and there are some cheap or middle prices one’s good for use . So in conclusion a 1000 dollars pen or 1 dollar pen it depends on the person it doesn’t improve your handwriting magically yes there is a difference between them , but if you want to learn calligraphy or improve your handwriting cheap or middle one’s is good the expensive one’s may have one or two more things or just golden nib etc…..
In the end thx for reading this and ( sorry for my bad English).

You did great. Very well written. I agree; it's not about the price. It's all about the connection and the inspiration. Thanks so much for watching.

I still remember when I was promoted in 5th grade writing with the pen was started everybody bought expensive pens not that expensive almost 1 or 2 dollars ( 50 to 150 rupees) I wanted one too but my parent didn't buy one for me saying u should not have a habit of writting with expensive pens. I write with a 5 rupees to 10 rupees pen max is 20 rupees I bought a trimax at the starting of 6th of 50 rupees but still my parents scold me lot and I think they are right ..
