I've been watching/playing since 2018, and for RLCS in particular been watching it religiously since RLCS X but don't really have anyone to talk to about it. I went to the London Spring Major for the 2021-2022 season on my own since I had no one to actually go with, and despite it seeming a little daunting at first at the end of the day you're there to watch the next level stuff these players can do and if you find someone to chat to about it all it's great - after all, everyone that's at a LAN is likely to know loads about what's going on in the scene/season. It's a phenomenal game and it's safe to say that Johnny, who I met briefly at the London Major and had a picture with, has been a huge part of what RL is today. When you go to a LAN, you can believe me when I say you won't regret it Side note about RLCS - one of the first videos I ever saw was the final of Season 5, and my god I couldn't believe what I saw. Also had goosebumps when JSTN scored that goal in Season 8 (still do watching it now), so naturally I wasn't going to miss London for anything
I agree with the guy that said there's a big gap between the top 2 and the rest. If you put Zen or RW9 against anyone except each other it's almost a guaranteed win. If you put Daniel against any of the other top 10 there's at least a reasonable chance he loses

I gotta use this space and time to congratulate the twins on their sweep victory over the Falcons to win in their recent tournament! It was so cool seeing twins on a team win it all. And isn't it their first year that their eligible? Idk but it was super cool seeing them win and they both look incredibly humble and rw9 just seemed so calm but together they're such a talented team with m7sn. Congrats again Rule 1, and well played to the Falcons as well for winning the first series of the grand finals, and ultimately giving it their best. GGs! Reverse causes you to go slightly backwards in the air. We need to talk more about zen having air roll left bound to the same button as his reverse, so hes causing himself to slightly slow down when hes air rolling.
That game 2 was unlike anything I've ever seen. The fact that there's zero inconsistencies with Zen's aerial plays. Fuck, how the hell do you win against this guy.

I think it was more of a coin flip/even matchup between Zen and Rw9, considering what level they both seem to be at is just better than the rest. But Zen does seem to keep improving as he goes, not sure if it will look similar to their first matchup at all the next time he and Rw9 play.
rw9 has way better defense than zen, so if hes having a good game he'll beat zen again, zen hasn't gone against anyone else that has nearly as good of defense as rw9
