      @@Evan2768 I think prejump means jumping before a shot (or before it looks lined up) - a shot at this level usually comes way after the offender takes off.

    That double tap by Zen is game 7 was easily the best goal of the series. The angle was insane

    I love the appjack collabs on these matches being someone who does play at the highest level can offer a lot of extra insight and he just makes me laugh lol bring him in on these and have you thought about call interviews with the players after?

      @@Branden29 if he's gonna kill it in the rlcs he's gonna have to get use to that pressure. and nobody expects the losing team or player to say much in an interview if they do accept the interview so I'm sure it would be fine. normally the winners are interviewed.

    this game showed what I expected. people just weren't used to zens style so he did win many showmatches but people start to read him now and he has more trouble winning

      He still has a higher mechanical level than anyone else when hes on form. I wouldnt be suprised to see him elevate his game overall and dominate again

      @@jackoplumkin6412 no it isnt, zen has to change now that people know how he plays. playstyle change isnt easy, especially in 1's. His mechs are amazing, thats whats winning for him most of the time. But when it comes down to gamesense, thats where someone like rw9, someone whos not nearly as mechanical as zen, sweeps him in a bo3 of showmatches.

    Unbelievable how 1v1 evolved over the years. When scrub was to young for RLCS and Paschy90 was the 1v1 god for me with for sure Fairy Peak I thought it couldn’t get any better but what these two pull of under this amount of pressure on the highest level is just insane. Really incredible both of these players m. What a match

      After a coin flip, Player 1 gets 3 games on the home server, and Player 2 gets 4 games on their home server. Player 1 though gets to choose what order the servers are played on.

    It is very interesting seeing the different styles. Zen is methodical and practiced to a T in those methods but Daniel is imaginative, making more mistakes but creating goals too.

    Unbelievable series. It was a battle on the field and outside, the car changes made all the difference
    Zen had the edge over Dan switching to the exact same octane preset, he got 1 game, but then Dan switched back to the fennec knowing he had the server advantage and won 2 games in row and was 1 game away from winning, putting pressure on Zen that answered back switching back to the fennec, Dan forfeits to stop Zen's momentum and then switches to batmobile, that was key to him winning because he kept Zen guessing.
    Game 7 was just crazy, reminded me of that Appjack x Joreuz insane game 7

    Zen had control on offense and showed better fifty fifty games apart from kickoff. Daniel really did an excellent job of taking advantage of spacing and utilizing zen less efficient routes to bang shots on net. Daniel has clearly studied zen and found the very few weak points of his game - winning kickoffs and defensive spacing.

    Had to come back and watch that last game a second time. This must have been a devastating series for Zen. I can't imagine he possibly came into this tournament imagining in his wildest dreams he'd place last 🫣 Ah well, it happens to every hotshot player eventually, hopefully he hits that grind and surpasses even beyond his former limits and brings peak RL to new heights.

    I'm from France and I played USE for a week last week, on good servers I had ~90ms it was largely playable, but then after a while it started getting often worse, going up to ~180ms on some servers. Weirdly enough, after switching back to EU I kept getting bad ping while playing on EU servers it was the weirdest thing then it returned to normal on its own after a few days. I think the US politicians did something to deprioritize international traffic under load or something?

      and RW9 is efficient and quick thinking like messi

    Zen was expecting a better save by Dan. That’s most likely why he positioned facing the corner boost/mid boost/shadow play/ 50 potential. Honestly I think Dan should have had a better save and then it would have most likely been Zen’s possession or solid 50 play but you always got to leave room for a reaction play! GGs to both 🎉

    Hello ! Love ur vids man. Only thing, when its something like 3-1 in the matches and that there is only 9 minutes to the video, we know whos gonna win. What if you always post 1 hour videos where you fill up black screen time at the end for no spoil ? Could be nice !

      It's bad for TH-cam because the algorithm thinks of it as a dead video (or at least the portion of it). If you really want to avoid spoiling it for yourself, there are extensions available on some browsers to hide TH-cam video length. On mobile, i guess you can full-screen the video asap and try not to look at the length again.

    At the last goal Zen could've scored, Zen couldn't have turned and then jumped for the ball, if he turned he'd be too far left to hit the ball left

    Can't really get away from the fact that it's a throw-win despite series being close. Either way, interesitng to see such a "mental" game of 1v1 rather than aerial/mechanical from especially these two "giants" of the mechanical playstyle in 1s.
