I've never stayed there myself, but I've spoken to lots of people who have and I've only heard good things about it. I'm sure you'll have a great time in Ao Nang. We don't eat at home that often and I have no idea what we spend per month or week, I've never kept track of it, but yesterday we went to a market, bought a bunch of vegetables (morning glory (pak bung), 20 baht) and dinner for the 3 of us for 290 baht, all up. I hope that helps.

You can book a trip to Phi Phi with any of the many tour seller counters you'll find on the streets. The boat operator will pick you up form your hotel. My family stayed at Ao Nang Cliff Beach Resort and Ao Nang Villa Resort when they came to visit me and they loved both of them. It depends on the night, some nights are hot and humid. Most nights are quite hot now. It also depends on the market, some markets do get quite crowded and can be hot too.
