  • Our Philippine Life is a video diary of my retirement to the Philippine Islands, showing videos of our travels while exploring the Philippines from our home in Batangas, through Luzon Island, and eventually traveling to other islands, like Mindoro, Cebu, Bohol, Boracay, Negros, Palawan, and Mindanao.

The beauty of our country is within. Just like a beautiful woman from the province without make up. Be proud of our country.

Waw! Catanduanes, you look richer than United States of America. Debt free too.

Asawa ko is from Virac, Catanduanes - known as "the typhoon capital of the Philippines" because it is in the Pacific Ocean east of Luzon, and therefore gets the brunt of incoming storms. The life there is simple, but happy. It's a beautiful place.

It's a very simple life there. Most businesses are closed down at 8 or 9 pm, people home in bed, very quiet place. You can see the stars very clearly because of the lack of city lights. Beautiful beaches too - but it is the "typhoon capital" of the Philippines - they all hit there first! LOL
