Our main attraction, the famous Porterhouse steak, is a massive cut known for its tenderness and rich flavor. At Delmonico's, this steak is prepared with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a perfect balance of texture and taste. We couldn't wait to see if this iconic steak lived up to its legendary status.
Founded in 1837 by the Delmonico brothers, this esteemed restaurant began as a small shop selling classically prepared pastries, fine coffee, chocolate, bonbons, wines, and Havana cigars. Delmonico's quickly grew in popularity, leading the brothers to purchase a triangular plot at the intersection of Beaver, William, and South William Streets. This location became the first fine dining restaurant in the United States.
Comparing Delmonico's to Our Previous Steak Adventures, www.theorigina...
Having tried various types of steaks, including country-style BBQ and massive Tomahawk steaks, we were eager to compare Delmonico's Porterhouse to our past experiences. Would this iconic steak live up to the hype, especially given its premium price?
Delmonico's introduced an unheard-of luxury at the time - private dining rooms for exclusive entertaining and a massive private wine cellar in the basement, holding 1,000 bottles of the world's finest wines. Under the culinary direction of Chef Alessandro Fellippini, the restaurant developed its identity with the house special, Delmonico Steak. This prime cut of beef, prepared to the original specifications, remains a staple on their menu today.

The thinner longer side of the steak is the NY strip, the smaller more round side of the steak is the fillet. And she is right, the NY strip side has more flavor, while the fillet side is more tender.
I still like the boneless ribeye the best.
It was so good and great to share! we are glad people told us in the comments to try it! Your right though, The ribeye still delivers as well! Thanks for watching
Hard to beat a well marbled ribeye
@@lazyblazer And I know a place that has a 16 oz. boneless ribeye dinner for $27.50. That includes 2 sides, with a soda it's about $30.00. And it comes on one of those metal hot plates, so it stays hot while you eat it.
it comes with 2 sides, and it is so good you do not even need any steak sauce with it, I just put a little salt on it and it is really good, especially for that price. It's a mom and pop steak place called Club Phoenix in Bartonville Illinois.
I prefer a king cut a prime rib over a ribeye ❤
@@steves2241 Wow that is an outstanding value these days!! It's gotten so expensive to dine out in my area that I haven't had a steak that wasn't home cooked in probably 5 years. There's a quality local butcher shop where I can normally get choice ribeye for $10-12/lb or prime for $20-25/lb
Eating a beautifully prepared steak at a well established steakhouse is an experience unto itself. Perfectly done. Glad you had a lovely time
Thank you for your kind words, it means a lot!
She always manages to get the first bite of everything 😂
Lol! Thanks for watching
Good on her!
He's a gentleman.

Holy shit! I can't believe you went to Delmonico's!
It was an amazing experience! Thanks for watching
Porterhouse is my favorite kind of steak cus its two steaks in one plus it's huge....thinner bigger side is NY Strip & the smaller thicker side is fillet mignon....I love caramelized onions & mushrooms smothering my steaks
That's awesome! Porterhouse is definitely a steak-lover's dream come true!
TH-cam aside, I’m of the opinion that you two would be very enjoyable dinner companions. I love to watch you share with one another and the banter is always so good. Cheers from Alabama, US.l
Thank you so much for your kind words, it means a lot to us! your comment has made our day!!!!
I ate there in 1977 the first time. They wet-age their meat. Absolutely delicious.
It's amazing how some places never fail to deliver great food year after year. It was so good! we are glad people told us in the comments to try it! Thanks for watching
That place went way down hill in the early 2000s.
This looks so amazing. I am craving some steak at the moment. There is a place in Orlando near me called Black Rock and it's so good.
Hope you manage to get one! Thanks for sharing about Black Rock in Orlando! I'll have to check it out next time I'm in the area.
We have a Black Rock by us in Michigan. Brought out with a screaming hot salt block to cook it yourself on.
The steak looked amazing
It was so good! We are so glad people in the comments told us to try a porterhouse steak! Thanks for watching
Great content, take a look into your mic setup though. Gain is too high, audio is peaking (distorting) I've noticed this the last couple of videos.
Thanks for the feedback, we are trying to get the hang of the microphones, thanks for being patient with us.

A-1 sauce actually originated in England it was created by the chef of King George IV
That's an interesting fact! we didn't know that. Thanks for sharing.
@@thebritstry Np , we are even now since we gave you Heinz Beans lol.
I picked up a bottle of HP sauce last year. I was shocked at its versatility. I just assumed it was the British version of A1, before finding out A1 is just as British as HP. HP pairs well with many dishes besides steak. If HP marketed it here as a condiment, much like ketchup or mustard I think it would do well. We Americans love our sauces after all.
@@CoryBone-tm9hr I like HP sauce but it's a bit too sweet for me to go with steak.
love your channel! you have been to so many places i want to go to!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos. Let us know if there is anything or anywhere else we should try?
Wow! 7 seconds into the video seeing that steak got my hungry. Looks good!

Next time the ny strip with creamed spinach
We will thanks for the tip!
is there something off with you microphone? the sound seems a bit off. lol i have to say that after watching this video, i want a steak. i'm due for some prime rib in a couple of weeks, but i sure could go for a steak now!

Why is my mouth watering???? That steak LOOKS amazing!!!
It really was delicious! Thanks for watching
The steak looks delicious and cooked to perfection. With the price of that steak that’s definitely a restaurant for special occasions. Looking forward to your next video 😊
Thanks for watching! That steak was a real treat and definitely for very special occasions.
I was one of the people that recommended the porterhouse. I lived vicariously through you and that steak. It looked perfect
Thank you so much for the recommendation! The porterhouse was amazing!
In the UK in my butchers shop, I would sell that as a TBone steak! The small side is fillet and the longer piece is Sirloin!
Great video as usual guys!👍👏👏👏❤️
Thanks for the Information and for watching, we'll keep that in mind next time I'm at the butchers!
luv u guys but its not fish it is a fill-ay not filet lol and yes i am a subscriber xxxooo
Lol!! your so right it was not macdonalds!😂
The editing in your videos is astounding!! It feels professionally produced. Makes your videos even more exquisite to watch lol.. Someone sure knows what they are doing. ♥♥
I love A1 on my steaks but I think I'd have trouble adding anything to this steak for fear of interfering with the natural flavor of the beef. My 29 year old (single businesswoman) daughter loves to take me and my wife to Seattle's finest restaurants. We've spent nearly twice this amount on dinner for 3 (no cocktails) Its easy to do here and I consider it payback for all of the expensive meals we took her out for when we used to let her choose the restaurants as a kid. Back then, not only did she manage to choose the most expensive restaurants to celebrate her birthdays, graduations etc but she used to choose the ones furthest away from our home so we'd end up driving to the most distant parts of the county. Secretly, I hated the driving more than paying those obscene prices for meals. Sometimes we'd let her invite a friend or two.+$$$+ Grateful for our son was always satisfied with going to Applebee's on his birthday. Kids!! ♥
Nicola looked gorgeous and Andrew as handsome as always. ♥ We love you guys. Mila and Rich in Seattle. ♥
Thank you so much for your kind words! It means a lot to hear that you appreciate the editing in the videos.
When garlic is roasted it turns sweet, soft and mellow.
It was very good! Thanks for sharing
That’s it! I’m grilling steak for dinner! But it won’t look as amazing as that porterhouse! Yum.
so jealous! we might have to get a steak for tonight as well!
That sizzle on the porterhouse 🤤
So good! Thanks for taking the time to watch
Just finished a hand cut NY strip. I buy the whole strip loin and cut it myself. Had a garden salad and homemade garlic bread with it.
Sounds like a feast! Bet it tasted amazing!
Wow what a pricey steak! But I'm sure the quality was amazing - and it is NYC. It looked delicious.
Appreciate your comment! It was indeed a splurge, but the taste made it all worthwhile. We would love to try another porterhouse somewhere else, to see if the cost is actually worth it. Thanks for watching
Hi kids running about? the best steak I have ever eaten is in my backyard with friends
Food is all about making great memories! wherever you eat it! Thanks for watching
The restaurant was absolutely beautiful and the steak was gorgeous. The next time you go out to dinner for a good steak ask for a side of Au Jus. You will thank me later❤
That sounds like a delicious idea! we didn't think to ask! next time we will. Thanks for watching
Too bad the audio's a bit wonky, but that is a spectacular steak. Nice and pink!
Thanks for watching and the feedback, we are working on perfectly the audio! It was so good! we are glad people told us in the comments to try it!
Wow. Now you're talking steak. NYC prices but the quality is amazing.
Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts! It was delicious but pricey.
Check out Old Homestead in NYC.
If you don't want to pop for the expensive steak, try their amazing hamburger.
I want to say that steakhouses aren't worth it, but they are there for a certain clientele. A one off experience is great. $300 is not an average person's meal, even if split 4 ways. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It is rarefied air.
Thanks for your comment! $300 for a steak dinner is definitely a splurge, but it was a special occasion.
Hello,
I hope you go to Cuts and Slices in Brooklyn. Order an oxtail slice and jerk chicken.
It’s closed on Wednesdays.
Thanks for the recommendation! I'll definitely check out Cuts and Slices in Brooklyn on our next visit.
A really good cut of New York Strip is my favorite. The best qualities of both the filet and ribeye, with more beefy flavor.
That's awesome! New York Strip is definitely a top choice for many steak lovers.
Grilling a few ribeye in about an hour, thanks for giving me an appetite, lol
So JEALOUS! Ribeyes are delicious too! Thanks for watching
I am so glad that I was one of the ones who recommended the porterhouse. I'm glad you guys enjoyed and as always, fantastic episode. 👍🏽
Thank you so much for recommending the porterhouse, it was a hit!
This is why I always say that my favorite cut of steak is the NY Strip. It has more flavor and if cooked right can taste so buttery and melt in your mouth. Now the Jolly guys had Tomahawk steaks in TX at the Taste of Texas Steakhouse and they had a Truffle Butter with their steaks. That Black Butter looked interesting too.
Thank you for sharing your love for NY Strip and the delicious details! The black garlic butter was a little sweet which was really interesting but nice!
The best steak house in New York is Peter Luger's
Thanks for the advice! we will definitely have to try Peter lugers next time!
There are plenty of steakhouses where you can get that same exact porterhouse steak for less than $50
We would love to try another Porterhouse steak, especially if we can see if the quality is similar for a cheaper steak? let us know if you have a recommendations and we will try and get there.
@@thebritstry The Texas Roadhouse restaurant chain is throughout the entire United States. You can get a 23 Oz porterhouse for a $33.99 I think you would be impressed with it for the price.
@@thebritstry LongHorn Steakhouse chain has a 22 oz porterhouse steak for $34
@@jeffhampton2767 Every Texas Roadhouse location has their own butcher. I would recommend taking the ferry to Weehawkin, NJ and eating at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse right outside the ferry. Porterhouse for two there is $119.00 and top quality, wet aged and prepared extremely well.
The people suggesting texas roadhouse are crazy, its a mediocre chain. NYC is just famously expensive and delmonicos has weight to its name so its even more extreme. If you want value delicious steak, go to a brazilian steakhouse, almost every major city in the US has a 5 star brazilian steakhouse like fogo de chao or chama guacha and it will not be more than 40-50 a person for unlimited steak of every type. If you go at lunch time it will be even cheaper. The ribeye cap (picanha) is my personal favorite.
Next time try The Old Homestead. But going to Delmonico’s 1st is the way to go.
Thanks for the advice! we will check it out next time. Thanks for watching
I've eaten at numerous steakhouses including Delmonicos. IMO, the best steak in New York, perhaps the country, can be eaten at Peter Luger's, either at their Brooklyn location or the one in Great Neck in Long Island. It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny. You can tell because you regularly see the owners of other steakhouses eating there! Order the Steak for 2 (it's a Porterhouse), medium rare, don't forget the potatoes and the creamed spinach. You can thank-me later. Oh, if you like Shrimp Cocktail, order that for the appetizer.
Don't forget to order the thick cut bacon!
Thanks for the recommendation! we'll definitely have to check out Peter Luger's in the future.
@@thebritstry Peter Luger's is by far, more superior.
While Luger’s is for sure superior to Delmonico’s, they both haven’f been the best in NYC for many years.
@@afcgeo882 Well, I eat in steakhouses very often, and for me, nothing beats Peter Luger.
Ranked: 1. Ribeye, 2. Filet, 3. everything else
Thanks for sharing your ranking! Ribeye and filet really are in a league of their own.
You ALWAYS eat french fries with your fingers - no matter how fancy! It would look odd with a fork! LOL
Haha, thanks for noticing my fry-eating habits! Finger foods are the best, aren't they?
The porterhouse is my favorite cut.
It was so good! we are glad people told us in the comments to try it! Thanks for watching
My favorite as well! My mouth was watering looking at that lovely steak!
The char comes from being put under a super hot broiler after cooking the steak.Delmonicos is good but I prefer Peter Lugers.
Thanks for sharing your preference! Delmonicos was delicious and Peter Luger's in on our list of places to try in the future.
I have commented on a number of your videos about the high prices you have paid at various places, and if you remember me at all from one video to the next, you probably have the impression I'm either a pauper or a miser. But wow, the better part of $300 for a simple steak dinner for two? Everything did look absolutely excellent, just delicious, I will say. And I'm aware that Delmonico's is a well established, very highly regarded name in the business, and one must expect to pay for that kind of cachet. But ... that's paying pretty dearly. I have to resign myself to accepting that there some places I'm not going to experience. That said, though, I am genuinely glad you're experiencing them, and letting us share.
You are not the only one. I know what you mean.
Thank you for always engaging with our content and sharing your thoughts. we always read the comments and try to answer as many as we can. Yes the prices are definitely pricey at Delmonicos and some of the other restaurants we have visited, but we are trying to have an complete overview of all American cuisine. We have tried fast food, mom and pops and chain restaurants and are definitely open to suggestions on places to try. Our next video in NYC has street food .
@@thebritstry Starting on July 5, and going till July 15, there is an event called Taste of Chicago, in Chicago's Grant Park. Great street food, plus every eatery in the city also puts out a booth or a stand where you can taste what they've got as well. It's a signature event, a lot of fun, and you'll probably end up talking to some very interesting people while you're there.
You have to understand WHERE this restaurant is and who their clientele is also. This place is in the heart of the financial district in NYC mere steps away from the Wall Street stock exchange, basically the financial heart of the world. It’s probably double the price because of that.
Holy Smokes that steak looked delicious. Black butter was interesting.
It was delicious! it was great to try a porterhouse steak for the first time! Thanks for watching
They use black garlic which is an aged version of white garlic. It's sweeter and milder than fresh garlic. The aging process makes it softer and a bit chewy and it's usually used in it's raw state since it gets more tough when you saute or roast it. It's preferred by some because it doesn't have that typical sharp garlic "bite". ☺
Interesting. Thank you
. It sounds delicious!
The NY Strip is the longer side and the fillet is the smaller round side. The fillet should be more tender and not quite as tasty as the strip which is a bit more meaty and more flavorful, and usually has an outside band of fat. This and ribeye are my favorite cuts of meat with ribeye winning out by a fatty marble. Your tomahawk steak was too thin if this porterhouse was as thick or thicker. A ribeye could easily be this thick and the tomahawk should be even thicker.
Thanks for sharing your insights on the different cuts of meat! It's always great to hear from fellow food enthusiasts. Thanks for watching and commenting
10$ for 2 Club Sodas
24$ for 2 Pilsner beers
6$ for black Garlic Butter
15$ for French Fries
195$ for the Porterhouse
Just give me a good cut of steak at the butcher shop for like 24$ and I’ll cook and season it at home.
Will it be as good? *NO!*
*BUUUUT*
At those prices I could have 12 steaks that I made at home and let’s face it a 24$ cut of steak at the butcher shop is *STILL A DAMN GOOD STEAK!*
That's a great point! Thanks for watching
Agreed!
Your average person isn't going to be dining at this restaurant more than once. It's obviously good to be frugal, but you can experience these overpriced restaurants from time-to-time, whether it's for an anniversary dinner, business dinner, or dinner for content. A once per year type thing.
ambiance and service....made for 'dating' or celebrating. I also can make a steak at least as good if I have a 'best' cut of meat. I know how to cook a steak over a flame. Who0p!
Family still asks me to make the meal for a birthday or celebration of some sort. A bit braggadocio yes, but I'm honored.
And I hope your tip was based on the $250 at most, and not the $283 that was with tax.
Next time try a prime rib and get the horseradish sauce with it and auju
Sounds like a delicious suggestion! I'll definitely try that next time.
these days I only get the king of steaks...the ribeye
Thanks for sharing! The ribeye is still a great steak too!
Head to Maine for lobster
Thank you for the suggestion! Maine lobster sounds amazing. We will work on getting there in the future, let us know if there is a particular place we should try.
I'm heading to Massachusetts this month & that's exactly what I'm ordering 🦞
Where is creamed spinach ?
We didn't think of adding that! Next time we will have to give it a try.
Steak looks great.
It was really good! Thank you so much for watching
The place everyone compares to is the legendary Peter Luger steakhouse in Brooklyn I believe. It’s the place that will not accept card or checks it’s cash only. The owners literally get up each morning to go to Fulton market and pick whole beef to ship that morning they are the absolute best in New York City. Unfortunately very expensive and they have a dress code. delmonicos is a good alternative though.
Peter Luger's reputation is unmatched in the steakhouse world! we would love to give it a try in the future.

I want to go to delmonico's right this second.
It was very good! just pricey though.. Thanks for watching!
Great video and I absolutely loved the background music.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and the music.
Why did you not put ketchup on your fries? That's an American tradition. And quite tasty.
Delmonico’s is featured in the novel The Alienist, set in 1896 NYC. Excellent book!
Thanks for sharing! we didn't know that.
The steak looked so yummy 😋
It was!
The trick is not to overcook the filet while getting the NY Strip up to temp. Not easy with a steak that thick.
Your right, we imagine that balancing those cooking times can be tricky, It was delicious though. Thanks for watching
@@thebritstry If you ever attempt a Porterhouse at home (and you should) it is vital to get it out of the fridge and up to 50-55F just hanging out on the counter before you fire it. That bone is a cold sink that will prevent the center from cooking evenly otherwise. Cheers!
Luv you guys perfect couple❤
Thank you so much!! Your comment has made us both smile..
Should've also went to Peter Lugers !
We appreciate the recommendation, Sound like a great excuse to head back to NYC 😉😉We'll definitely check it out next time!

DO NOT LEAVE NYC without going to Hawksmoor ! It makes peter lugars look like McDonald's
Thanks for the recommendation! we'll definitely have to check out hawksmoor in the future.
Black Garlic is fermented.I have never tasted it but I have seen chefs on videos praise it.A1 is very dark and tastes like thick bitey Worcestershire, that house sauce is more like their version of Heinz 57 sauce. If you order shrimp(prawns) you might get Cocktail Sauce which is a tomato ,Tabasco and horseradish sauce. The Mustard and mayo is Deviled Egg sauce, which if you haven't tried deviled eggs you should.
I appreciate you sharing your knowledge about these sauces. The black garlic butter was very tasty.
AWESOME....I 've never been to Delmonico's Steakhouse ....But for a huge life event like a birthday or anniversary I'd definitely consider Delmonico''s. Thanks for the review. Keep up the great work
So glad you enjoyed the review! Delmonico's is definitely worth a visit for special occasions.
Very happy you took our porterhouse suggestion. Yum.
Thank you for the suggestion, you were so right ! it was delicious!
Delmonico's...now you have enter the ultimate food porn. But, I am bias originally from CT NYC was a hop, skip, and ,a jump train ride...just over an hour....reliving memories through you two because I now live in Oklahoma...by the way, still a great steak place to live.... Cattleman's Steak House and Bill's Steakhouse in Oklahoma City are my two faves here.
It's amazing how food can bring back memories, isn't it? Thanks for the advice on Oklahoma steakhouses, we would love to visit in the future! watch this space😉
haha - maybe a big birthday that ends in TWO zeroes !!
I've always thought of Delmonico's as a sort of Gilded Age holdout, but you've convinced me it's a modern steak heaven - will definitely try (some special day). I imagine steak + wine + salad + a light dessert (I think they invented Baked Alaska!) approaches $500 - wow
It's definitely pricey but a great experience! we hope you get to try it one day. They did have a set lunch menu which offered 'some' discount.
Wagyu for $250.00? Oof that's pricey! The Porterhouse for 2 looked like the best thing on the menu. Leave it to Delmonico's to make imported salmon look inexpensive. Holy Ned $38.00 for mushroom risotto. I'm sitting her dying for one of your pommes frites - they just look like they were cooked in beef fat. The best French fries I've ever had like that were in Puerto Vallarta and we pigged out on them from room service every night. They had house made catsup that was to die for. Still, I think that Delmonico's can keep theirs at $15.00. You're paying for the name! Thanks for another fabulous video! Well, I guess, check it off your bucket list. Now are you going to find the best Chinese food in New York? They have the most amazing dumplings at Pacificana.
Thanks for tuning in and leaving your hilarious take on the menu!
When I lived there, THE ALIENIST inspired my visit. I ate Lobster Newburg, a little NY Strip, and split a range of sides. Yum!
Thanks for sharing! we will have to check that series out!
Just a dropped comment:
Found out you've relocated to San Diego! Wonderful! There's a place called "Not Not Tacos" run by fellow TH-camr Sam the Cooking Guy. Put it on your list, he's good!
A lot of American food is, I'm sure you're discovering, comfort-oriented. Unless you're on some "diet", like Mediterranean, keto, paleo, vegan, carnivore or even the old Atkins, you're going to find a lot of comfort.
Thanks for the recommendation! I'll definitely check out "Not Not Tacos" and see what Sam the Cooking Guy has to offer.

Peter Luger's in Williamsburg Brooklyn is the best Steakhouse in the 5 Boroughs, possibly the world. Bring cash and get the creamed spinach and bacon.
Luger's is overrated.
You must not be a New Yorker, but that’s okay.
@@CeractucusIt’s EXTREMELY overrated, but it keeps tourists away from the actual gems, and that’s a service to all of us.

Nice thing about The Granary in Saskatoon, no fancy dress code, reservations help, but aren't necessary, amazing decor. Dinner for 2 including an appetizer or 2 and a drink,...you will be looking at around $200....give or take depending on exactly what is ordered
The Granary sounds like a great place to dine in Saskatoon! We will have to try and plan a trip there in the future!

I was just looking at a big Tomahawk steak at Walmart, I did not see the weight of it, but I would guess at least 2 lbs. maybe 2.5 lbs. and it was only $47. Which is a pretty good price, it would easily feed 2 people. At a restaurant that would be a $100 steak, if not more.
That's a great deal for a Tomahawk steak! Definitely a steal compared to restaurant prices and homemade is always better. Thanks for watching
Lump of steak? You have cattle ranchers and steak enthusiast's cringing.
Your passion for steak is admirable, thank you for watching!
Enjoying your videos a lot! Please figure out the microphones. Some of your audio is so distorted! Thanks!!
Thanks, we are working on it. We think we have now managed to fix it. 😀
I realy been enjoying this channel and your sampling of classic American cuisine from a British perspective. I wonder, don't you have premiem steak houses in the U.K.?
I'm glad you're enjoying the content! We do have some great steak houses in the UK, but there's something special about American steakhouses, don't you think?
Unfortunately you could have got the 7 oz filet for $39 and the 18 oz bone in New York Strip for $79. Though there is plenty to be said about the on bone filet cut. C'est la vie.
Thanks for the info! we'll keep that in mind for next time.
A ketchupy steak sauce is more likely close to Heinz 57. Vinegary is A-1
Thanks for sharing! We were wondering what that was! Thanks for watching
If memory serves me correctly, Delmonico's Steak in NYC is our oldest steakhouse in the USA. It has an outstanding reputation. It was Delmonico's that also became famous for the "Delmonico" cut of steak, which we call now call a ribeye. Years ago, I believe there was some sort of trademark argument over the use of other restaurants, butchers or supermarkets selling a cut of steak called a "Delmonico," hence what we have come to now know as a ribeye steak. I have relatives in the midwest that still call a ribeye steak a Delmonico though. Your Porterhouse looked delicious! Btw, I think you will have regrets being in NYC and not visiting some of their outstanding restaurants in Little Italy. If you are interested in suggests for Little Italy, let me know.
Thank you for sharing that interesting history about Delmonico's Steak! It's always great to learn more about the origins of famous dishes.
Doesn't look any different from Filthy McNasty's Rest. on edge of town. Lol
Thanks for the information! where is Filthy McNasty's ? great name...
Wasn’t the front of the building the one they used for the building in the John Wick movies?
We are not sure but would love to know! might have to watch the film again to check. Thanks for watching
OK, let me start by saying I love you guys. You do great reviews. You sound like you’re having a ton of fun and it’s great to watch your videos. But you gotta take some time in the next couple of days, next couple of weeks to do some testing with your microphones for proper mic placement and mic gains. During your beginning and ending segments of the videos, listening to you talk is painful because the recorded sound is distorted and muffled when your speaking volume is elevated or pointed directly at each other’s microphones. Hope this helps. Cheers!
Thank you for the feedback! We appreciate your support and will definitely work on improving our audio quality.
If you have not gone to their Venice, Italy location, you might try All'Atica Vinaio, which is world famous for their most outrageous sandwiches. There are now 4 locations in Manhattan. Two in the Village and two uptown.
Thanks for the recommendation! we'll definitely check it out next time we visit Manhattan.
The best steak in America is eaten at my house off my grill. I’m a butcher of 34 years ambience is great in fancy expensive steak houses.but well prepared properly seasoned, and perfectly cooked can be done at home.
Tell us what time we want us to come round, lol!😂🤗
Yeah, that was not really a cash discount. The "cash price" was only the regular price before a 4% fee was added to the bill for credit card users. This is the kind of SCAMMING behavior that metropolitan NYC restaurants have been engaging in for some time. The point of this is for the business to pass on their business costs from their credit card companies unto the consumer. I refuse to patronize businesses that do this.
I appreciate you bringing this to light. Thanks for watching
Big side is a New York strip then you have your T-bone and the other smaller side is a filet mignon that’s a porterhouse even though the place is called Delmonico a Delmonico is actually a ribeye, which you’re not eating
Thanks for the detailed breakdown of the steak cuts! and Thanks for watching!
