After all the frickin' inanity and scenery chewing, I love that slight eyebrow raise and shaking meant to portray confusion.

The entire song “take off your clothes” is actually a reference to one of those Disney subliminal message controversies. Supposedly in one of the scenes with Princess Jasmine you can hear Aladdin say “Good teenagers, take off your clothes”.
Something that is so clever with twisted is that in Aladdin they have a villain sing a reprise to the protagonist's version of the song and with this they did the same thing with the Golden Rule

God I love the music in the song ‘Twisted’ especially when Ja’farr actually says the word near the end. I love how the piano and violin seem to twist along with the word.
Dylan had so many moving songs in this production, and in most of them he's crying like a single tear, maybe 2, but you can tell he's struggling not to cry as he is singing, yea, he deserves a Tony, all starkid actors do

“Dream a little harder” sounds like that song “need a little christmas”
“screw you tiny tim” LMAOO
11:55 i was crying but then "tHe KeYs To OuR yOuTh huhah" from tgwdlm popped into my head and now i'm laughing
I love all of the subtle Wicked references. "No one will ever mourn me"
Follow the gold and rule is so menacing and dark contrast to the golden rule that gave me chills, it’s amazing how evil and confident in their own corruption is the whole palace court
Dylan’s “ some where!!!” Is pure gold
God I love the music in the song ‘Twisted’ especially when Ja’farr actually says the word near the end. I love how the piano and violin seem to twist along with the word.
You had me at, "and my smart-ass commets."
I didn't realize 4:15 was a reference to les mis until I had spent 10 min trying to figure out when Robert and/or Jeff had written a 3 hr musical
twisted has no bad songs, don’t @ me
Dylan had so many moving songs in this production, and in most of them he's crying like a single tear, maybe 2, but you can tell he's struggling not to cry as he is singing, yea, he deserves a Tony, all starkid actors do
Can you do this with starship
Edit: you made a fame reference I luv you
i literally JUST finished watching this! perfect timing 4 me
3 minutes in and I HAVE SOME THINGS TO SAY. follow the gold and rule is such an underrated song and the ties it makes to disney execs is v thoughtful. also the wordplay! cant forget about the wordplay
I love take off your cloths because of the references.
Also it’s brilliant that they live in Magic Kingdom and Achmed lives in Pixar. It was set up from the beginning and I just love the reference
I can't wait til you do Holy Musical B@man!
Twisted will always be my favorite song and musical from starkid
I love how you add positive comments to every song. You’re so positive to every song and the fandom needs more people like you 😘
I love the parallels between “Follow the Golden Rule” and “Follow the Gold *and* Rule” it’s so subtle and I love it
20:00
By 'hamilton WHO' you mean "Hamilton move over," right?
It is absolutely CRIMINAL how you didn’t include the gorgeous high note of “Don’t be such a fool” in the golden rule evil reprise
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how perfect and cartoonish Jeff's facial expressions are? I feel like he must have studied the facial expressions in Aladdin to replicate them so perfectly
I'm still waiting for it to be on spotify :(
Sokibuscus&GummyBear it’s on Amazon music
