Can someone explain how to connect the Jumping Slash after the Jumping Heavy Slash (that comes after RC), do I need to do a jump or something? As far as I am aware (from my attempts) it is not possible to connect j.HS after RC if you do a jump in between, but if I do nothing j.S just doesn't connect at all. I also don't see any airdash in the video, nor in the combo notation. I just cannot get that momentum, when I try Chipp is too far to hit j.S.
Never mind, I just figured it out some seconds after that comment, for those seeking the answer: the Red RC there is a Dash RC, you can get that momentum by dash and then j.S will connect. Pretty cool combo, I love Chipp.

Loving the video haven't played since the second month of release and trying to learn the game agin, idk if there is something I'm missing but For the first combo if you switch DSH > 5K > 6H 236H to DSH > 5HS > 6HS for me atleast it's far easier to land and does 154 damage
I'm trying to practice the combo at 1:30 but cant get the air alpha blade k to connect after the 2 j.k's. Any ideas on what im missing? i'm jump cancelling the s diagonally to follow up with j.k's like in the vid. I've tried mixing up my timings i fell like it shouldnt be this hard :/
My guess is that you jump cancel the js diagonally and then you do jkk, in order for the air alpha to connect you need to js jump cancel it diagonally to jk(single hit) and jump cancel that diagonally into another jk(single hit) and then use air alpha. Yeah that shit is hard imo, I have done it but nowhere consistently enough to use in a real match.
The method I figured out while practicing this combo is: after you input jS, start rhythmically inputting 9k (tap both the direction and button at the same time) until you get both kicks. The reason I say "rhythmically" is because you need to gain some height in order for alpha blade to connect, so there needs to be a gap between the kicks. Maybe try to find a rhythm for mashing the jumpkicks which will get you enough height. Hope it helps :)
4:00 when you detach from the wall doing this, what direction do you hold before doing alpha blade? Combos like that have been really finicky for me cuz of trying to figure out the right direction to detach
So I hold left and down to detach and then quickly do alpha blade in the air towards the wall. It was weird for me too when I first practiced it but just make sure to be on the left side of your opponent when doing the combo on the right wall that way the alpha blade will work properly and bounce you off the wall
Some of these are so frickin saucy, I love that we can make use of Chipps multiple jumps in combos now
