That bolt cutter at @32:20 is terrifying for no reason. You could easily create a feeder for this that would keep their filters away from the cutters and would take 20 minutes to make w/o slowing down the process at all.
I was just about to comment that dude is lucky to have all his digits, that scared the crap out of me and I worked in heavy industry with guys with missing thumbs.

Well, regardless of the working conditions the steel is hot rolled, drawn to size, the shape is forged and the threads are rolled. That’s one strong, well made piece of hardware.

What a great idea - let's not bother putting a container under the bolt tumbler so when we open it we collect the lot in one go, instead we can scatter them all over the ground. All, we need to do then is get two urchins to scrape them up by hand and chuck them into small bowls. Genius!

I see the bag that they are being packed in states they are ISO9001:2008 certified for quality management and product quality and also is certification the company meets all statutory requirements in regard to manufacture. This will also allow the customers to tick the box that only only buy from ISO certified suppliers.

@@tjack49er It is a large racket. In a job before I retired I traced a lot of certification links (usually after a failure) and the number of shonky auditors, forged certificates, products not meeting claimed performance levels etc was not small.

Amazing how many times they cut a piece of material, toss it on the ground, pick it up again to move it to another operation, cut it or bend it and toss it back on the ground so you have to pick it up again?? Then that truck loaded with coils!!! Wonder why their trucks break so many axles and gears?
I love the universal look of the hard worker. The jeans, the random baseball hats, ect. Dudes would look right at home in any steal yard anywhere, USA, Mexico, you name it. Hard workers be hard workers and may they backs stay strong and the Forman stay far away.

Some of the saddest working conditions along with completely ridiculous practices. How often does one of the workers get cut in half unloading the steel sheets…. I truly feel sad for these guys.
Baby they don't need or want your pity as hard-working men who are supporting their families with prideful work. They definitely don't want your virtue signaling from a point of comfort and privilege. Shut your mouth.

The lack of even basic health and safety practices is quite scary, but I guess these chaps are used to it. The teamwork and skill is to be admired, but I do worry for them.

Those 2 kids do about 9 different things at the tail end of the process. I don't understand how they keep up with the hot slingers upstream, who just do 1 or 2 different things.
How many times was it moved by hand. Does it matter, work pay is down at bottom rates anyway.
