In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Unwritten rule for all respectful scavengers/scrappers. YOU NEVER ROLE UP ON ANOTHER PERSON PICKING A PILE OR BIN. Mike I take my hat off to you for handling it so well. That dude was so in the wrong. Safety first.
In Australia they almost get into fist fights with each other over scrap. 😂

I was eating while traveling and saw something on the menu called "scrapple". I asked the waitress if I was in Mike The Scavenger's restaurant but she wasn't laughing...
YIKES! must of been in the eastern US? In the mid 70's as a newly married military wife, i visited Philadelphia with a friend to visit her parents, they served me scraple for breakfast, this friend told me its a sausage made with meat byproducts not even good enough for hot dogs😮, i ate a very small amount later i thanked her parents for their hospitality, almost 50 years later scrapple sausage has never touched my lips..NOPE NO THANKS!

I absolutely hate it when someone rolls up on me while I'm dumpster diving. My tolerance isn't what it used to be, and I know that I wouldn't be very nice in telling the person to leave. It is so rude and inconsiderate!

Hey Mike, I absolutely love watching what you do and all the crazy finds. I'd love to see more videos on how you break down the different objects you break down to maximize your profits at the scrap yards. As well as the difference in wires you strip as well and which offer you the most by poundage. If these are your personal trade secrets, I understand not showing. My kiddo is so interested in this thing you do, but I don't have the knowledge to explain why you pick up things to break down and not others. We love watching your videos together so much, so he's got our summer planned this year on giving it a try ourselves as his summer job. I'll be doing most of the heavy lifting and stuff along those lines because he is only 8 years old. If he's willing to try, so am I no matter his age. There are so many that don't want to try and work and here is an 8 year old kid planning our work schedule for the summer. I'm so proud and don't want to discourage him in any way. Thanks for these videos

That looks like a Harbor Freight carry-all one of those ones for the electric scooters for the older people. That one aluminum thing you called a ramp it should have a ramp on it. It would be great for the back of your truck he can add a couple more scrap to take the scrap yard.

Yep, I'm a scraper and rule 1- FIRST COME FIRST SERVE! You do well with being so nice, I have had some problems in the past with people, and MAN it is Better to drive off. SO what do you do with the Big TVs?
