In the 70’s I use to raid the Kmart dumpster for my shoes. They’d use a box knife, slice them once and toss. My shoemaker would sew them up for a couple of bucks. High top, steel toed work boots were my favorite. 😊
K Mart used to keep there return batteries on a pallet behind there stores for many years I made a lot of money from the stores I visited do miss those days 😎

Mike your awesome!! Hey that Andrew cell tower stuff, the connectors all most all that equipment is plated brass. Grind them you will find that they are brass. I used to work for cell tower companies. I scrapped a lot of that. Lots of money. The c-claMps are stainless as well as the light cable hangers. Lots of stainless in cell tower stuff so it doesn’t rust. Keep the videos coming!
While I watch your videos I think of around the world POOR countries starving and drinking dirty mud water and I look at all the wealth being thrown in the dumpsters here in USA WOW our garbage could really help 3rd and 4th world countries and save how many starving people???? may GOD forgive us for being so rich we throw away such value???? great job you do turn garbage into a living THANK YOU!!!!!!

Sounds like a good idea for a channel, people would watch it I think. Two trips a week would probably be enough for one video a week with all the stuff that's thrown away.

My mother is on oxygen 24/7 & about 3 weeks ago I found a new like condition walker. And I thought of her as she needs help as she is walking. So I'm hoping you find good home for the medical supplies you found in the video. ❤💕

It’s so great when you find new stuff like the crutches and you take the time to find a new home them. It would be an awful shame if they ended up in the land fill.
That’s a carbonator assembly that makes Soda water. It has a stainless steel tank with a brass pump & motor. It’s what Coke & Pepsi installs with their fountain machines.
My life just changed. I went from scrapping in Florida, to living on top of a mountain in N.C. ,and am now mating baskets, bowls, cups and backpacks out of tree bark.
When I watch you drop from the top of the big open top dumpster I get a weird feeling in my legs as though it's myself that's just dropped off the dumpster. I do hope that you haven't had a bad landing and injured yourself. Stay safe and keep on getting those scrappy scraps. You are one amazing guy who puts a big smile on my face with your antics
4:14 everytime I see one of these open tops full of materials, I always want to ask Mike to build an off grid tiny home purely out of trash. (not counting screw or nails or fasteners.) I think that would be so super cool!
