    Wow ! thank you for posting my aquarium and the kind words. It really is because of your videos that I felt confident enough to start my first dirted tank. I always learn something from your videos and appreciate the work that goes into making them.

      You're very welcome but honestly the appreciation is mutual. Without engaging subs like yourself; I'd have zero reason to keep making videos and exploring new ideas.
      You should be gloating over your tank and eager to brag about all that studious work! You've earned it ☺️

      @@yourtap thank you this tank is a fun and challenging project. I have really enjoyed it.
      My project for this year is going to be an attempt at Florida Everglades biotope with sailfin mollies. I want submerged and immersed plants. Your videos on immersed plants have been helpful as I’m planning.

      @@angiemoore1741 please take pictures or videos! I must warn you that doing emersed plants is highly addictive and has a nearly never ending list of them, and a few dozen are located at your closet grocery store! Have fun!

    Angie that's an awesome tank! Very visually appealing, I could watch that tank for hours! I wish I had an eye for hardscape and plants like that. I just kind of add things where they fit based on what my fish would like (driftwood and "cave" hideouts) then just put the plants I like spaced around.

    Hey there, new subscriber here. Thank you for this channel! I’ve already learned a lot. Any chance you can do a video describing how you built your in-tank planter boxes for the house plants? I have some just stuck in my filter right now haha.

    • @yourtap
      @yourtap  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I can appreciate that. You remember when we were kids in the 90's, schools would give every student sheets of stickers that were round, green, toxic face, to slap on everything that isn't for human consumption? Lol

      @@yourtap 🤣 yeah that and those smokey the bear commercials (only you can stop forest fires). I was watching a show the other day with commercials and was getting so frustrated. For a sec there I was confused by my reaction because didn't we grow up with consistent commercial breaks.. until I remembered that they weren't all medical commercials. They used to be engaging and fun to watch! Now its just medication and a whole host of side effects and disclaimers. Why would I want to try a drug that could potentionally lower my ability to fight infections?!

    I have a purple plant and my mom says it will grow if you break it off and put it in water! Would it be toxic to fish? I believe its called a wandering Jew or a purple heart? Its not variegated. I had a croton before and to be honest, I killed it in dirt haha. I think I actually sunburned it accidentally.
