I have not seen the film "Strictly Ballroom" but I am someone who remembers this song when it was first released (yes, I'm old). That was a time when music had to be created rather than autotuned to be popular and interesting.

I’m 17 and today’s Valentines day and also today at school we finished the film of STRICTLY BALLROOM for our media study assessment and this song came up at the end of the film and i lowkey liked it at school…. so i went home and listened to it and I am in awe literally INLOVE with it!!!!😭😭😭 the rhythm, the singer and everything else is just friggen amazing….I’m so addicted to it now….kinda feel bad for my mum cos i knw she’s already tired of me listening and singing this song this whole day…😂hehe
