Sadly, we live in a society that doesn't punish entitlement and encourages it. But I'm always delighted when I hear about Karens not having things done their way. Matter of fact, this one would rather pull a stunt to blatantly steal a car, end up in jail and not around for her kid. Out of all Karens, the ones I hate the most gotta be the mothers willing to put their kids at risk just for a sparkle of pride and adrenaline.

she's lucky he only pressed charges for assault... he could also have pressed charges for carjacking and that would've gotten the sentence to at least 9 years, if not 17

The potato guy didn’t really cross a line, I agree with the theory that the gesture got back to her boyfriend and he got upset about it so now she’s upset only cause he’s upset, And in my opinion that’s a little unfair because up until then she had no problem with it
My only thing with that is that he did it purposefully so she would have to explain it to her mother. That is where I believe he crossed the line.

@@CajunReaper95 I think it's perfectly normal to find it odd that a partner has a very close friend, male or female, that they consistently message and who is delivering gifts to their home, hanging out with them, and who previously liked them but you don't know about. I mean if they are super open and bf knows all about them it would be super insecure to be upset about the gift, however if he's a guy she's never mentioned that's major red flags for emotional cheating at the least.

Story 1: The whole time, I just feel sorry for the kid and wonder what happened to the kid. I hope the father is involved and teaches the kid not to be as crazy as their mother is.
Story 2: Ya know how chill a person is by how much they can laugh at themselves.
Story 3: Yea, I agree that the potato at the apartment was too far for the joke (especially since you intended the mother to find it).
Story 4: It could be that since the first GF, after five years, decided to go sleep with others people, as well as his second GF cheating on him, he has some trust issues and does not want to rush into things. Also, five years with someone is a long time so his thoughts might go back to her at random (not as longing to be with her but just missing her as a friend). If you are worried that you are the rebound girl, then take the relationship slowly and ye shall see if it is genuine or not.
Story 5: Not excusing the dad but it could stem from the fact that he saw how screwed up it was for him to have the twins while dropping out of school and does not want that for you (no mention on the mother of the twins and what she went through). Sometimes, knowing what's causing the jerkiness can lessen the blows.
For the last story OP definitely needs therapy if that’s how they’re reacting to this situation. I bet she was an a hole too at some point. Like yeah, but The dad never dealt with it so there’s no negatives to start with.

I agree with your take on story 4. I mean he planned to marry the girl, I wouldn't blame the OP for questioning things when he brings her up sometimes. The person reading it says its in the past and she shouldn't compare herself to an ex, but if he was truly over it he wouldn't mention her at all, or at least once or twice to explain his past. and given his second girlfriend cheated, he's probably insecure and sadly, people will go for a rebound if they are that desperate. I think they need to just take it slowly and they will learn if its right.

Story 3: In my opinion the heart was juuuust one step over the line. If OP had just left the potato outside the place with their name or something it would've been fine, but since they had tried to ask her out before it makes it something else.
The heart thing only make sense in the context of if you play the game. When you give a NPC a loved item a heart bubble appears above their head. So I believe that was a refrence thatno one else got-

Story 4, it sounds like OOS boyfriend learned a valuable lesson all young men need to learn. That being "don't rush into marriage, because if the relationship fails, a break up is cheaper than a divorce." Plus he more than likely wants to be sure 100 percent that you both are compatible.
Yeah, I agree. I do understand what she is getting at. My husband is first everything, as well. My husband was engaged before we met. Obviously, it didn't work out. It was a healthy relationship. When we were planning our wedding I felt pressure to make sure the wedding happened. He never compared me to her and didn't pressure me at all. We talked about it and he was supportive and understanding. Still is too. Anyway, we TALKED and listened. It was unnecessary pressure I put on myself.
However I don't blame her for worrying since he won't stop talking about his ex so much it sounds like he's still hung up on her and I disagree that she's overreacting she had taken any action
I've read similar stories where the rx becomes available again and the SO(seen this with both genders) dumps the current partner to get back with their ex or in one case cheated on the current partner with the newly available ex

For story #3, I think everyone in that situation overreacted a bit. The original poster maybe shouldn’t have put a heart on the potato, or sent it at all, but it was clearly just a joke. I can definitely understand where the mom and boyfriend are coming from, but the original poster specifically apologized and said he was just messing around. So they probably shouldn’t be too mad at the girl nor the poster. As for the girl, while I can understand maybe not wanting to talk to the poster for a bit, to completely stop talking to him is a bit over the edge. Although that is not what she said, that was what was implied by the original poster. This is all just my opinion so it probably doesn’t matter too much, but hey. He could still have faced this problem. just because theres a heart doesn't mean they're cheating and so if a mom freaked out over a heart, it's not out of the question that she'd freak out over a smiley face. or a ramdom potato at all for that matter, knowing someone else got her it.

Person in the last story needs to just put their dad in his place next time he criticizes their life choices. Next time he does just say "well, at least I'm not dropping out of college, having two kids then abandoning them so, you can keep your thoughts about my choices to yourself."

For the third story, I wouldnt necessarily say that she just shouldn’t worry about it, but that she needs to go and communicate with her boyfriend about this, because if she doesn’t, she’ll just be bottling up her emotions and anxiety
I have been through this the first thing you need to do is isolate him and put all your cards on the table tell him exactly how you feel about him and how he has made you feel. Only after all has been said can you move on. Forgiveness is not for the other person it is for your emotional well-being.

i heard that one in another channel. It was a Chervy Montercarlo the guy spend a lot of money on it. This police who favorite the Karen for show off end up putting OP in jail and In the end the Karen trash it and flee away. After that she was arrested with her bf for other things like illegal substances. But damage was already done.
The guy who put him in jail end up doing a desk job and paid for the damage as well out of his pocket by his uncle who knows OP from a relative. Even took some people to help him to locate a new Chevy Montecarlo and suit it in the same conditions as the other one ... but OP said it wouldn't be the same because some parts are hard to track down too for keep it to its original state.

As a jokester myself the potato wasn't the big of a deal I mean I've pulled a bunch of similar jokes on both friends and family and still doing stuff like that and it always gets a good laugh out of everyone.
I'll never forget when my dad was working on something and lost a screw. And for the next week every time I found a screw I'd either give it to him or put it somewhere he'd see with a note saying found your loss screw. We still laugh about it every now and then.

Well the thing is if I remember correctly in stardew valley if you gift an item to an npc or another player a heart does appear over their head and I think that was just part of the joke so in reality I wouldn’t say he really went to far it was just a dumb person not understanding things and immediately jumping to conclusions and not realizing he was just playing into the game mechanics and make the reference a bit more obvious which in this situation had the opposite effect

This happened to me once but it was an older dude. I had called my parents and after a few minutes of my father yelling at him my mother called the police. The police tried to negotiate for the man to come out peacefully but at the time it had already been an hour and I was going to be late to my college class so I just elbowed the window and pulled the fucker through it as he was yelling that I broke private property, yea my private property.
16:30 to me it seems he was emotionally scarred with that first relationship, and wants to take things slower and maybe he realized how big of a commitment it is. I don't think it's that he doesn't trust OP, I think it's just that he has been heartbroken and traumatized in the past.

*Story 1:* It's crazy what people will do to obtain a car that's not theirs. While I've always admired the Chevy Camaro, and will always complement the owner of a car, I've never been one to just try to steal one's car. This *"karen"* is insane! Why did she feel like she could do that?

It's funny, these stories sometimes make me feel like I don't spend enough time with my family. Not just these ones but ones from lots of other videos. The ones that are like "now I'm just trying to stay away from my parents". I would understand that if you're still living with your parents but like as a grown adult, it's difficult to even get time with my parents at all, let alone never needing to "try" to not see them. It's just something I've noticed. Like the very last one, she's got to be over 40 years old and her secret siblings are over 50. What an odd time to start a relationship with them. That's why I feel like the records should have to be unsealed when they turn 18. Just in case both parties may want to spend more time together.
