Every time one of these stories come up, I'm always wondered, "Why not just pull out the receipt?" My wife has a great habit of always taking the receipt and putting it in her wallet. She never just lets the cashier put it in the bag. What did the woman think? He wouldn't have receipt? There wouldn't be cameras in the store showing him buying it? The clerk (a potential witness) would forget her? If they actually believed her, that the police wouldn't take the PS5 as evidence? There might even have been traffic cameras showing what happened. It's 2022, how did she expect to get away with that?

It took me a year to get mine and I only got it because I follow a streamer who does videos on surprise drops and I was lucky enough to get an order in on time. Take care of yourself and if you don't feel comfortable working on the day they're supposed to hit your store's shelves, maybe you can request that day off? The first day has always been the craziest in my time working retail. Used to work at a Toysrus, so I've had plenty of experience with crazy Karens.

Story 4, We own 1/4 of a Mtn where we built our custom home. Our Mtn connects with another Mtn which 9 of us own. The Mtn which 9 of us own is a private Mtn. Anyone is welcome to hike, take their quads, motorcycles, horses, etc as long as they have permission from one of the owners. The trail head is less than 100 feet from our front door. 3 summers ago while hiking, almost to the summit came 3 teenagers ripping up our trails with their motorcycles. I stopped them and asked who gave them permission to be on the Mtn. (The owners nor our guests tear up our trails bc we have a maintain them so everyone is safe and the spring run off is navigated down the Mtn to keep the owners homes safe from water damage). The Entitled teenagers got in my face and said that they could ride wherever they wanted. I reminded them of the No Trespassing sign at the trail head. The cocky one said, that it was an old sign and they had the right to ride wherever they wanted. In a stern voice I told them that this Mtn belonged to me and they were trespassing and they had to leave. The Cocky one said that not me or God or anyone could make them leave. With that they tore off. I promptly called the Sheriffs department and started back down the Mtn. A few minutes before getting to the trail head, they rode past me and flipped me off laughing. Upon arriving at the trail head, the Sheriff was detaining them. I pressed charges for trespassing and all their tags on their motorcycles had expired. Their motorcycles were impounded and they were arrested for trespass. Their parents were pissed off, but there was nothing they could do bc they didn’t know which house was actually mine. Needless to say those brats never came back and word got out that our Mtn was off limits. Up until that time we have caught other teenagers with dirt bikes and motorcycles trespassing, but left as soon as they were notified that they were trespassing. We haven’t had any problems since then.
I would say, “I am glad I got an Xbox” but then I heard a story about a Karen trying to steal that console from an elderly lady, by the end of it Karen got sent to jail. Even Nintendo Switch users aren’t safe from Karens. A Karen’s hellspawn tried to steal a Nintendo Switch from op at the gym and the Karen threatened to call the cops on op when he got his Switch back. OP had parental lock on the Switch which provided the evidence that Karen’s son was a thief. OP got his Switch back and Karen got banned from the gym and charged for theft. The moral of the story, buy your own consoles and don’t steal Karen.

the last story looks like the brother of a friend who was in a similar situation, the guy almost got into because of the girl, but their realize she was toxic all the way and her religion (evangelist) was a little bs. The girl end up ghosting him and he literally break with her. And despite that, she realize the error and mistake she did by try to force him once she began to see how much of an a-hole the people on her religion was. But it was really late.

I never understood that, like, why is it when you got two people who are such great friends, have a lot in common and all that, dont share a mutual love for one another, why does that end up ruining the friendship? As a Christian myself I can understand both sides of the last story but I ultimately have to side with the boyfriend. The girl was too young and immature to understand that just because she had found faith doesn't mean that her 'chosen partner' can or is ready to. As a Christian myself, I don’t believe the last one is toxic per se. As Christians, we are warned in the Bible not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. This is because of both religious and practical reasons and differences in beliefs. (Eg, what if they had kids and she wanted to raise them in church and he didn’t.). From her perspective, if she’s a new Christian and still learning what that means, she may have just realized that she may be “unequally yolked,” and try to reconcile both her new faith and her relationship. However, you can’t force someone to become a Christian, that’s not how it works. She can do her best to help influence him, but ultimately she can’t change his heart or what he believes, and she should consider whether she wants to continue a serious relationship with someone who has very different beliefs and values. That’s could definitely cause some serious conflict in the future.
Can relate to the last story, i am atheist and dated this girl in college she definitely was not atheist i had no problem with her religion didnt bother me, however she went home for a weekend and when she came back she broke up with me because, im not religious. the last story looks like the brother of a friend who was in a similar situation, the guy almost got into because of the girl, but their realize she was toxic all the way and her religion (evangelist) was a little bs. The girl end up ghosting him and he literally break with her. And despite that, she realize the error and mistake she did by try to force him once she began to see how much of an a-hole the people on her religion was. But it was really late.

I was lucky enough to find a PS5 at a GameStop in our Mall. It was my Older Brother’s Birthday so we went out for breakfast then decided to go around our GameStops because he wanted to buy Splatoon 3. Then my dad wanted to preorder the New Call of Duty so we went to the Mall GameStop and as we are looking around a guy came in to return a PS5 that he bought for his brother as a house warming present but found out his brother had already bought it. So I asked if he was going to return it and offered to buy it off his hands since my Dad has been wanting one for a while. Best Purchase I have made this Year with amazing timing!

I never understood that, like, why is it when you got two people who are such great friends, have a lot in common and all that, dont share a mutual love for one another, why does that end up ruining the friendship? *Story 1:* Talk about crazy karen! I don't get why she refused to believe that OP had bought this PS5 with his own money, even after him showing the receipt stating that he had in fact purchased it. And to get the police involved? You'd have to be a special kind of crazy, or possibly stupid to do that. Whether OP paid with a card or with cash, you'd think it'd appear on OP's receipt of purchase. Why this entitled karen refused to leave him alone is beyond me!

That's not always true just because the parents are mean and entitled doesn't necessarily mean the children are as well that only happens maybe about 10 to 12% of the time
As a Christian myself I can understand both sides of the last story but I ultimately have to side with the boyfriend. The girl was too young and immature to understand that just because she had found faith doesn't mean that her 'chosen partner' can or is ready to.
My two cents is the boyfriend needs to break it off with the girl and if he still has feelings for her in 3-5 years then try to casually contact her, but don't get his hopes up, cause she does sound very controlling.
1st story
If the police didn’t show up I would have driven straight to the police station while the Karen was tailing me. The look on her face when she would have turned the last corner and seen the police waiting for her.
As a Christian myself, I don’t believe the last one is toxic per se. As Christians, we are warned in the Bible not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. This is because of both religious and practical reasons and differences in beliefs. (Eg, what if they had kids and she wanted to raise them in church and he didn’t.). From her perspective, if she’s a new Christian and still learning what that means, she may have just realized that she may be “unequally yolked,” and try to reconcile both her new faith and her relationship. However, you can’t force someone to become a Christian, that’s not how it works. She can do her best to help influence him, but ultimately she can’t change his heart or what he believes, and she should consider whether she wants to continue a serious relationship with someone who has very different beliefs and values. That’s could definitely cause some serious conflict in the future.

Can relate to the last story, i am atheist and dated this girl in college she definitely was not atheist i had no problem with her religion didnt bother me, however she went home for a weekend and when she came back she broke up with me because, im not religious.
