1:50 I’ll never forget this moment. There was some kind of delay, they blasted that song with the bass booming and the ‘dome got LOUD. Louder than I’ve ever heard it before and it can get pretty wild in there. After the goal was called back at 0:40, especially being so reminiscent of 2004, it was like the C of Red was letting out a decade’s worth of rage. Johnny looked out at the crowd, took a second to soak it all in and nodded his head like “so this is what Calgary is all about”. One of my favourite moments and I’m so glad that he got to see us at our best. Thanks for the memories, bud.
Oilers fan here I remember this game like it was yesterday when Edmonton was horrible Johnny and his brother mathew were taking away to soon RIP Johnny and Mathew Gaudreau ❤
They were lucky to avoid a loss in regulation. Since they were on the power play late and with their goalie pulled for the extra attacker, they were able to tie the game and win in OT. Anywhere lower than that level of power would have been unlucky.
I remember when they just entered the zone my mom and sister started leaving and I'm like ITS NOT OVER YET and then all of a sudden we hear SHOOTS SCORES and my house went crazy
When Calgary Flames were trailing late in regulation, I was sure they were going to tie the game since they had a 4 on 3 power play and the extra attacker with their net empty. That was a huge increase in their chance. If they were at even strength on 4 on 4 plus the extra attacker with their net empty, it would have been a loss for Calgary Flames in regulation unless if they somehow were lucky enough.
That was very lucky for Calgary Flames. They had a 4 on 3 power play and their goalie pulled for the extra attacker to tie the game. It increases the chance to score but at risk to allow an empty net goal.
Who is the play caller for this? Because I really, really hate him. He says "scores" like he's a ventriloquist and has absolutely no passion. Does he secretly hate the Flames or something? Just awful......
It's Paul Romanuk, and I agree I don't like him at all. Only reason I used his call for this was because I thought he actually nailed the Johnny goal. "Deft. Delicate. Deadly. Johnny Gaudreau!"

Omggggggg that was the goal that got called back in the 2004 stanley cup finals!
The goal was never called back in 2004 . They never even reviewed the play and noticed it after it was too late
@@MrVietDonger-y9l True my bad.
Backs and Johnny both had their biggest goals of their careers this game.
Wait for this playoffs :>

Rest in total paradise, Johnny Hockey
Ive been to a lot of arenas and this is hands down the loudest building in the show in the playoffs. Nashville and Montreal are close though
Even after getting scuffed they pulled it off
I miss this team they just worked and it was fun to watch

Love that pop . Don't ever hear it that loud ever at Rogers arena in Vancouver ...even during Olympics and Finals run
Only time it was this loud in Vancouver was during the riots..

Gotta love the refs screwing the Flames over when the puck crosses the line
Again......
That entire series was rigged
Yeah it still happens now
Honestly not the first time I'm having flash backs
Keep crying. How are you even Flames with all those tears 😭?
I miss these days so much. End of an era.
This reminded me of the Stanley cup final vs Tampa Bay, the refs screwed them over again but thankfully they still won this game
nope. Wasn’t in

Who is still a flames fan in 2022? 🐉🐇🐎
✋ but I’m dead inside I don’t care how good or bad we are I miss chucky, mony, and johnny
Im sorry but that puck CLEARLY crosses the line, probably by about a full inch, which is pretty clear.
I do look forward to the next time the Flames make it to the post season. Hopefully sooner than later.
Love it AC!! Thank you!
30 seconds in and it's Shades of 04 all over again
who's here after Backlund's extension?
Was the silence the 2:04 an edit or did the crowd time that beat drop lol
Hahah, I edited the sound out for that moment.
